Karl Lagerfeld calls Adele a little too fat

Designer Karl Lagerfeld told British newspaper Metro that he likes Adele, but says she’s a “little too fat.” When asked who his favorite singers were, he responded, “I prefer Adele and Florence Welch… The thing at the moment is Adele. She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice.” The outspoken designer went on to say that he thinks President Obama should be re-elected, because he likes Michelle Obama’s looks: “Yes he does [deserve to be re-elected], especially because of Mrs. Obama. I’m a big fan of Mrs. Obama – and her face, I think, is magical. He would not be there without her.” However, he wasn’t too keen on Russian men, saying that if he was a woman in Russia, “I would be a lesbian, as the men are very ugly. There are a few handsome ones, like Naomi Campbell’s boyfriend, but there you see the most beautiful women and the most horrible men.” Adele is the first British artist to spend 16 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard charts, beating a record held jointly by The Beatles and Pink Floyd.

Hey Karl, F*** OFF! Adele said she doent mind her weight and so do many of her fans. Just because she is chubby doesnt make her any different than anyone else. Just think of all those black singers (Aretha, Ella, Etta) who made it big and werent tormented because of it. Just keep your mouth shut and you will be fine
Weight’s only a problem if you feel uncomfortable in your own skin, OR if you sweat while you eat and require prescription underpants.
Since none of those criteria apply to Adele — although I don’t know her well enough to comment on her knickers — it would be advisable for Karl to shut his pie hole.

Mr. Lagerfeld should be one to talk. Not to long ago he was very overweight & now looks like a walking skeleton who looks much older than he really is.
As for Adele being overweight so what – now this is a real woman whose not only beautiful but very talented not like those anorexic women who keep gracing our covers that if you so much as blow wind there way they’ll probably fall over & break in half.

I didn’t know she is fat. But people like her talent for some reason, so good on her. Look at us Canadians we like Rita McNeil. The world does like and adore fat people. Santa is the best example. Face it some people are just bigger, but they can have talent too and not just eating contests or let’s see who can die the youngest from heart disease or stroke or anything else linked with obesity. Maybe she can pull a Jennifer Hudson and now afford Weight Watchers then maybe this guy will like her.
“A little too fat” sums her up perfectly and people should start being realistic. Yes, she is overweight. Yes, she has plenty of talent and shouldn’t be forced to change her look. But the truth is she is just overweight, just like there are singers who are too skinny… get real!
