Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson engaged?

Rumor has it that Owen Wilson, 39, popped the question to girlfriend Kate Hudson last week on her 29^th birthday in Miami. This news comes one year after Wilson tried to commit suicide after the couple split at the beginning of 2007. Hudson has been seen wearing a sizable rock on her ring finger. “He picked out the ring and went for the biggest one he could find. He was nervous about proposing but Kate was thrilled and the whole thing was really emotional,” a source, who is reportedly close to Hudson, told News of The World: “The engagement is a natural step forward for them both and Kate’s ecstatic.” However, a rep for Kate tells OK! that the ring Hudson was photographed wearing is a prop for a movie she’s starring in. “She’s filming a movie called Bride Wars!” the rep explained. “She is not engaged.”
