Katie Holmes as Wonder Woman

Katie HolmesKatie Holmes apparently wants to take on a strong leading role to establish herself as more than Mrs. Tom Cruise, so she’s in talks to play Wonder Woman. Star magazine reports that Katie left her daughter Suri with Tom in Berlin and flew to Los Angeles earlier this month to have a secret meeting with the producers. A source says: “The movie’s only at the discussion state, but Katie feels this role as a kick-ass superhero will put her back in the public eye. She wants to show her stuff, and she wants to prove that she can stand on her own two feet without Tom’s help…Katie is bent on doing this alone. She actually scheduled the meeting when she knew Tom wasn’t going to be able to be there.”

DONT LET HER DO IT. I was hoping that they would take her out of Batman: Dark Knight…
and they did, but put her in Wonder Woman?? What are these people thinking???

  3. Beny • August 16, 2007 @ 3:21 PM

Oh Christ, then don’t even waste the film. It’s going to flop with Holmes in it. I don’t think that there’s enough Scientologists to go see it to make it successful.

I’m rather rooting for a relative unknown on this one. I’m sure there are hundreds of other brunettes that could do a much better job.

Hoping for someone who looks more like Linda Grey for the role. Elementary my dear Watson that it is NOT Holmes. WOULDN’T EVEN THINK OF WANTING TO SEE IT IF HOLMES were in it.

  8. b-girl • August 16, 2007 @ 5:20 PM

The movie would be a joke if she’s in it.

Have they not seen her face? Even without Tom Cruise, she’s too cutie-pie or something to play wonder woman. Yeuch.

  32. A-line • August 17, 2007 @ 9:32 AM

I definitely do not see Katie Holmes as Wonder Woman. Jessica Biel would be the one for this role. Katie looks too meek for this type of movie as for Jessica, she is beautiful, has the body for it. Jessica = Washhhhhhhhhhhhh!; Misha looks she will fall apart at any time. No comments for Jessica Alba.

NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NO NO NO not that kathy holmes brainwashed lady from tom cruise ‘s famous Scientology regligion .. should be Jessica Biel or Jessica Alba or somebody new lead lady that never been before but must have good looking, hot body and strong physical body, and tall that will fit wonder woman same as exactly in comic book… i think halle berry dont want as wonder woman perhaps she have enough of catwoman but loves as storm in x men ….no way to kathy holmes too bad she is not playing in batman part two ( the dark knight) ….Sarah Jessica Parker hell no not fit beacuase of her nose sorry …..so good day to ya all

Morena Baccarin should have the part.

  39. moviegeek • August 17, 2007 @ 9:50 AM

Nicole Kidman would be my choice, NOT Mrs Tom Cruise. She should get that role because she is married to that over the top nut job TOM CRUISE. Hey give it to the smart woman the one who divorced him NICOLE!

  40. Edwin • August 17, 2007 @ 9:52 AM

A Big No, for a starlet with no acting, oh my, look for others please, it could be another flop movie if she do it

angelina jolie or jessica alba…..definitely not a blonde, are u guys nuts??

  42. Comic Lvr • August 17, 2007 @ 10:00 AM

I agree with whoever proposed Jennifer Connelly that she’s be great. Of the options polled, definitely Jessica Biel, but I wouldn’t really want to see her do it either. How about Megan Fox?! Those eyes are incredible (Amazonian?). DEFINITELY NOT KATIE HOLMES. She and Tom need to find an isolated island and retire. We’ve had enough of them.

  43. BAT^"^MAN • August 17, 2007 @ 10:13 AM

Howab out Dick Cheney or Nancy Grace or Jenna Bush or Ann Coulter or Rowan Atkinson or Hillary or Jennifer Connally is my pick.
She has the eyes and attitude for the Wonder Woman role andthat is one big BATARANG

  44. bekids • August 17, 2007 @ 10:14 AM

Half of you are too young to remember Linda Carter (not Grey) as Wonder Woman but I do agree with Jennifer Connelly as a good choice. She has the right combination of naviete/innocence and kick butt good looks to pull the role off. Besides she can act.

  45. Anonymous • August 17, 2007 @ 10:23 AM

Angelina Jolie has all the assets for Wonder woman. Please not Katie Holmes

  46. Muriel • August 17, 2007 @ 10:26 AM

None of the Jessicas. Not good actresses. No Katie Holmes but for sure Angelina Jolie

  47. Now You Can End The Debate • August 17, 2007 @ 10:26 AM

No, no, no…it’s not just about the look, Wonder Woman requires a touch of class and sophistication…so the answer is obvious: Anne Hathaway.

  48. Anonymous • August 17, 2007 @ 10:27 AM

Yes I could see Anne Hathaway. Good choice

  49. Anonymous • August 17, 2007 @ 10:29 AM

Perfect! I never thought of Kiera Knightly. Shes the one

  50. StarScream • August 17, 2007 @ 10:29 AM

Plain and simple… Kiera Knightly!!! The only one out there who could pull it off. Watch King Arthur… she has Wonder Woman written all over her. Katie Holmes?? That will ensure the movie will bomb!

  51. Louise • August 17, 2007 @ 10:32 AM

….NO,NO,NO,……it would be magical with either Catherine Zeta Jones or Angelina Jolie…..

  52. Missy • August 17, 2007 @ 10:39 AM

if she gets the job tom will f*ck it all up cuz he will want to be there with her and then he will make sure things that are going to happen in the movie dont like her kissing some guy or somthing like that.

  53. France • August 17, 2007 @ 10:41 AM

What about Chloe Lane from days of our live sorry don’t remember the real name…Check on NBC.COM

  54. daya • August 17, 2007 @ 10:44 AM

Please, PLEASE, not Katie Holmes. Life is not fair, and with her tainting the role, an icon will be butchered for eternity and Wonder Woman will be no more.

  55. Sam • August 17, 2007 @ 10:50 AM

Personally, I think either Lauren Graham (Lorelai on Gilmore Girls) or Cobie Smulders (Robin on How I Met Your Mother) would do a good job. Joss Whedon wanted Cobie when he was supposed to do Wonder Woman. And they both have the right looks and height.

  56. silentbob • August 17, 2007 @ 11:02 AM

I’m 16 and evan I know it’s linda CARTER, not grey! I think it should be Jennifer Connelly or some unknowen actress to play the part of wonder woman. All this about Maria, Beyonce, Sarah jessica Parker Come on really. They couldent pull it off. Oh I also say Ryan Reynolds for THE FLASH.

  57. D Alexander • August 17, 2007 @ 11:09 AM

Sarah Jessica Parker ,Who would want her ,she is nothing to look at.
Even her voice is bad for the role.

  58. Brian • August 17, 2007 @ 11:10 AM

I think that your poll is flawed… Wonder Woman had always been portrayed as a Brunette…

So depending on the age of the desired wonder woman I would agree with Sam…

    1. Lauren Graham for the “more mature” Wonder woman…

    2. Cobie Smulders for the youthful Wonder Woman…

    3. Rachel Bilson for the teenaged Wonder Woman

    4. Jennifer Connelly would also make a great WW…

    5. You could also get Jennifer Love Hewitt although she is a little too cute… even Lucy Lawless would be an option…

As a final thought, having any of the Jessicas would be a mistake… I mean Alba and Biel have the bodies but they just aren’t the Raven-Haired Amazon Warrior Princess type…

  59. John • August 17, 2007 @ 11:15 AM

Angelina Jolie I think would make a good wonderwoman

  60. Anonymous • August 17, 2007 @ 11:19 AM

No, Katie Holmes would not be convincing as a tall Amazon warrior. It should be a tall, athletic unknown brunette actress who should get the role. Use known actors for the supporting cast and villain(s).

  61. DLish • August 17, 2007 @ 11:25 AM

NO, NO, NO!!!!Why can’t they just find someone NEW! WW was an AMAZON not an ANOREXIC! Please!

  62. Heather • August 17, 2007 @ 11:25 AM

Look people, it’s Linda Carter, not Linda Grey. You’re all showing your age. Well, so am I.

My first thought when I opened my Tribute email was Anne Hathaway. Upon reading the comments, however, I think Jessica Biel for sure, but Beyonce would be fun. She was great is Auston Powers, Gold Member.

I laughed my ### off at Condie Rice.

But, hey, I think Katie has the Linda Carter look (face-wise and hair-wise). So, power to her if she can pull it off. Let’s cut-out the gossip mongering and give people the benefit of the doubt that they can grow personally and professionally beyond their tabloid image.

  63. Anonymous • August 17, 2007 @ 11:42 AM

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! Jessica Biel has what it takes to be in that film not Katie Holmes

  64. Anonymous • August 17, 2007 @ 11:54 AM

  65. Now You Can End The Debate • August 17, 2007 @ 11:55 AM

Like I said before, Anne Hathaway is the natural choice….but if the producers can’t see that, then I’d rather see little Abigail Breslin (that awesome young lady from Little Miss Sunshine) do it than Katie Holmes. I mean since Holmes will make a farce of it, wouldn’t it be better to have someone you can laugh with (Breslin) than someone you just want to laugh at (Holmes)??

  66. Christopher Deane • August 17, 2007 @ 11:56 AM

Lovely! This tempest in a teapot!
    Just lovely!

Just cast someone like Minnie Mouse and get it over with.

  67. Judy • August 17, 2007 @ 11:58 AM

Katie Holmes, don’t think so, stay home with Suri!

  68. Doris Bouchard • August 17, 2007 @ 12:00 PM

I think also that Angelina Joli should be the one she has the body and the look in the eyes to make a good Wonder Woman and I’m sure the film will be a success!

  69. Jayni D • August 17, 2007 @ 12:06 PM

Boy, most of you people are really nasty. Katie Holmes absolutely has the Lynda Carter Wonder Woman look. And what is wrong with her acting? I think she would be great. A lot of you are judging her on her personal life. Who she is married to and what her religion is are not valid reasons to say she’d be lousy in a movie.

Some of the other people you’ve all come up with are ridiculous. Jessica Simpson? Paris? Sarah Jessica Parker? Puhleeze!!!

  70. Anne • August 17, 2007 @ 12:12 PM

I think Catherine Zeta Jones would be wonderful as Wonderwoman.
I think the role is to meaty for the pretty young Katie Holmes—-too cutesy. She would be a perfect Nancy Drew though.

  71. Phyllis • August 17, 2007 @ 12:23 PM

How about Jennifer Garner – she can kickass. Angelina Jolie or Jessica Biel – you need sultry beauty, brains and strength. Katie Holmes still looks like a teenager.

  72. sabby • August 17, 2007 @ 12:24 PM

Um…Duh! Lucy Lawless–at least we know she can pull off a warrior.

  73. Now You Can End The Debate • August 17, 2007 @ 12:36 PM

In fairness, maybe ‘Jayni D’ (above) has it right – we should all get off the anti-Katie kick…so instead, let’s spread it around. Jessica Alba? Please. She is great at the stuff she does, but I don’t see her as Wonder Woman. On the other hand, what about Lindsay Lohan, cause I seriously wonder about that woman! It could really work. Give her a few party favors and she could easily be lead to believe that she has an invisible jet…it could even save her from more trouble because if she keeps jumping in the jet, then no more car escapades!! Convincing her that the rope on her hip is a sort of magical lariat would be no problem once she was primed to go! Some of the best performances come when an actor really believes in the character – Lindsay could really be made to believe she is Wonder Woman!

  74. Bree • August 17, 2007 @ 12:38 PM

Ummmm those are the choices, (what are they thinking..and who are they?) no chance that we could have some new choices?? …Lisa Simpson might prove to be a better choice then the ones provided she actually has some acting experience…

  75. Gary • August 17, 2007 @ 12:42 PM

To go with the rest nooooooooooooooooooooo
However I do think Kelly Hu (sp?) would be perfect. Tall, Pretty and I do think should could kick @$$ real good. Plus the rope thing would be hot 😉

Emma Roberts is a fresh new face and I think she’d do a wonderful job.

  77. Shannon • August 17, 2007 @ 12:43 PM

Katie Holmes totally has the Wonder Women look. And question to a previous poster, if you’ve had enough of Tom and Katie, why are still talking about them?

  78. Anonymous • August 17, 2007 @ 12:52 PM

    1) Marge Simpson
    2) Lucy Liu

  79. ladyaurora • August 17, 2007 @ 12:53 PM

Wow, considering the movie has been shelved indefinitely as the studio wasn’t crazy about the direction that Joss Whedon was taking it in, this is a bit late and a bit unimportant. As to her playing Wonder Woman… who honestly cares! If the movie isn’t a go, it doesn’t matter whether or not anyone thinks she can play the part!

While I think Katie Holmes has the look, I don’t think she could pull it off. What about Courtney Cox-Arquette? Maybe Scarlett Johansson with a dye job? Rose

    Here are some other possibilities:

    1. Courtney Cox-Arquette
    2. Scarlett Johansson with a dye job
    3. Rose McGowan
    4. Alyssa Milano
    5. Fergie? (Just kidding, sorta)

    8. Gina Gershon
    9. Vanessa Marcil
    10. Brooke Burke
    11. Jenny McCarthy (look at her Maxim shoot as a brunette)

Wonder Woman is supposed to be beautiful. Sarah Jessica Parker needs a nose job before you consider her. She looks great, until you look at her face and that huge honking nose she has. Too cheap to pay for a nose job, I here.

Try Jessica Alba or Jennifer Garner. I’d pay to see either.

  129. Rose • August 17, 2007 @ 4:50 PM

I’ll definitely see Jennifer Garner like in “Alias”. Miss that show a lot. Catherine Zeta-Jones is ok too.

  130. Patrick • August 17, 2007 @ 5:02 PM

All I can say is, if they make her wonderwoman, I will not and never will to go see that movie ever!!! And all my faith in DC will be totally destroyed forever lol

  131. Rna • August 17, 2007 @ 5:25 PM

LOL, you guys are funny! Well, I could see Jessica Biel or Jen Connelly as the frontrunners (looks closest to WW, and they can act), then Jessica Alba. Maybe even Beyonce–she wants a Oscar so badly after Jen Hudson took it from her:( but Hudson derserved it! But even pre-Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes coulnd’t act. Too much drama & she’ll probably tank the profits. Sorry…

  132. Isabelle • August 17, 2007 @ 6:18 PM

No not Katie Holmes. Please do not destroy my memories of Wonder Woman.

  133. Anonymous • August 17, 2007 @ 6:27 PM

    NEVER !!!!!

  134. Anonymous • August 17, 2007 @ 6:28 PM

if she plays wonder woman, whats next tom cruise playing superman LOL
    Just say NO

  136. Anonymous • August 17, 2007 @ 7:40 PM

I like Jenifer Connelly out of all of them, but if she is unavailable As most of us know WW was an amazon that was not influenced by any outside society which is why I like Jenifer Love Hewitt she plays innocent and naive well with a hint of strength. Jenifer Garner would be good she is accustom with the action scenes because if Daredevil and she has class. I think Katie Holmes can play WW sister well.

  137. Shazam Says!!!! • August 17, 2007 @ 8:45 PM

Shannon Elizabeth and Jessica Alba seem to be the only 2 on this whole page that I agree with.Either one of them or the dog from Air Bud. The dog would be a far better choice than all these other names……….

  138. cheryl • August 17, 2007 @ 9:10 PM

how about evangiline lily from lost…

  139. Anna • August 17, 2007 @ 9:33 PM

    Catherine Zeta-Jones would be wonderful…beautiful, classy…strong, sexy…

  140. Jennifer Muilwyk • August 17, 2007 @ 10:11 PM

Katie Holmes cannot play Wonder Woman. it was bad enough when they got Kate Bosworth to play Lois Lane now they want Katie Holmes to play Wonder Woman? I don’t think so. Catherine Zeta-Jones is a much better choice. The movie would be ruined if Katie Holmes plays her.

  141. Anonymous • August 17, 2007 @ 10:20 PM

kate beckonsale as wonder woman…oh but she doesn’t have blue eyes? well, it’s hollywood contacts is an option…so KATE!

  142. Anonymous • August 17, 2007 @ 10:22 PM

Catherine Zeta-Jones! you can’t send that whinny girl from the creek! she can’t act and now she’s a stepford wife!

  143. No name • August 17, 2007 @ 11:27 PM

Not at all!!!!!!!!She doesn’t seem’s to fit for that kind of movie.Shouldn’t be Jennifer Garner or Jessica Alba!!!???Someone who’s beautiful and sexy!!!Come on not Katie Holmes!!!

  144. Dan • August 17, 2007 @ 11:38 PM

She may be beautiful, but it takes more than looks today to pull off a role that is not in your own personality. First she needs to get a mond of her own!

  145. Dan • August 17, 2007 @ 11:39 PM

    Crap!!! MIND OF HER ONW!

  146. Eric Cartman • August 17, 2007 @ 11:57 PM

What about Linda Gray’s former co-star, Victoria Principal? Or Cher?

  147. Sheldon Wiebe • August 18, 2007 @ 12:53 AM

If Megan Fox was five inches taller, she’d be perfect.

  148. Carissa Fraser • August 18, 2007 @ 2:27 AM

How about Megan Fox from the Transformers movie alongside Shia LaBouef? She seems beautiful and tough at the same time. Give her a chance. Catherine Zeta Jones just has to be fit more for this part, and she’ll be fine. Jennifer Connelly and Angelina Jolie would be good too.

  149. Sue • August 18, 2007 @ 3:02 AM

I like Katie Holmes, but I don’t think she’d be that great of a choice for the new Wonder Woman. Angelina Jolie or Catherine Zeta-Jones would be a much better choice for the part!…They’ve both been in a lot of action flicks, are great actresses, and they both resemble Linda Carter in a lot of ways!
As for the vote, they left out the option “none of the above” for the poll question!!! LOL!!!

  150. Anonymous • August 18, 2007 @ 4:51 AM

Just a side note it is Linda Carter that played WW. I think some of you are confusing her with Erin Grey of Buck Rogers fame. Same era two different characters/actresses. 🙂

  151. Anonymous • August 18, 2007 @ 6:31 AM

Catherine Zeta-Jones sounds good- but how about Linda Fiorentino or Molly Parker- would be neat to have a Canadian play her

  152. Magnum Opus • August 18, 2007 @ 6:51 AM

Parker Posey or Reba McEntire would be excellent fits for the role.

  153. Jet • August 18, 2007 @ 6:55 AM

    Angela Bassett should be WW.

  154. Anonymous • August 18, 2007 @ 6:58 AM

Kelly Ripa has that Linda Gray look so she’d be my choice.

  155. Anonymous • August 18, 2007 @ 7:12 AM

Mariah has the best bod for the job.

  156. Plastic Pete • August 18, 2007 @ 7:14 AM

It has to be Sarah Jessica Parker.

  157. Anonymous • August 18, 2007 @ 7:29 AM

  158. Anonymous • August 18, 2007 @ 7:53 AM

I think Drew Barrymore would make the best Wonder Woman

  159. Luis Willis • August 18, 2007 @ 8:51 AM

I don’t know why you need a Wonder Woman movie at all,but if you must do it then the choice should be a beautiful sensual, yet strong woman, Jessica Biel would be good but my choice is Kate Beckinsale.

  160. Li-Lo for Awhile • August 18, 2007 @ 9:55 AM

    Reba McEntire.

  161. Steve S • August 18, 2007 @ 10:08 AM

Jessica Biel would be an excellent choice. Beautiful, athletic with a strong character. I think she’d fill this role perfectly!

  162. Alex Fernandes • August 18, 2007 @ 10:42 AM

As far as actrress’s go, I feel that Kate Beckinsale is the best choice for Wonder Woman. She has the look, she has proved herself in the past that is capable to do action/hereoric films and I defintly only see her fitting the profile for Wonder Woman. It would be a dissappointment if someone like Katie Holmes took upon such a role.

  163. Anonymous • August 18, 2007 @ 12:28 PM

    i agree with Raquel Welch

  164. A Fan • August 18, 2007 @ 12:30 PM

I get all sweaty just picturing Sarah Jessica in the Wonder Woman duds!

  165. Jean Lajoie • August 18, 2007 @ 2:46 PM

Catherine Zeta Jones, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Connelly all have “the look” to play Wonder Woman… but they are all in their late thirties or older. Since Hollywood is probably envisioning Wonder Woman as another “franchise”, i.e. at least a couple of sequels, those actresses might be too old. Someone younger like Anne Hathaway or Jessica Biel would probably be a better choice. (Personally, I think Keira Knightly might be considered too flat-chested by Hollywood producers who are obsessed with larger chests).

  166. Bernie • August 18, 2007 @ 3:31 PM

    Erika Eleniak

  167. Mark Mast • August 18, 2007 @ 4:13 PM

Don’t even think about putting Katie Holmes. What about Shannon Elizabeth, Teri Hatcher, Stacy Keibler(as a brunette? WOW), Jolene Blalock from Enterprise, Catherine Bell from JAG.

  168. Barthez • August 18, 2007 @ 9:04 PM

I think the best choices are Jessica Biel, Megan Fox, or Jessica Alba. Katie Holmes is just not a good actor.

  169. Victoria • August 18, 2007 @ 9:11 PM

I think Katie Homes is the perfect choice for Wonder Woman SHe has show all she can do it!

  170. k_h • August 18, 2007 @ 11:47 PM

I don’t think Holmes has the presence, strength or personality to play wonder woman.

  171. k_h • August 18, 2007 @ 11:59 PM

I don’t think any of the women in the poll would make a good wonder woman. Katie holmes – not strong enough, personality and physical features. Jessica Biel – not bad, this would be my choice from the poll, but still, there’s just something about her… Jessica Simpson – good looks, bad actress. Mischa Barton – too skinny; she couldn’t put a man over her shoulder to save him from a burning building – even if she did have super powers.

  172. k_h • August 19, 2007 @ 12:01 AM

oh, and jessica alba, her face is too generally kind. She doesn’t strike me as someone who can give a very piercing gaze.

  173. Kath • August 19, 2007 @ 12:45 AM

    Worst Idea EVER!!!!!!

  174. Anonymous • August 19, 2007 @ 1:08 AM

Teri Hatcher would be my first choice, followed by Sarah Jessica Parker.

  175. leona • August 19, 2007 @ 2:00 AM

go check out last legion there is a girl in that movie who rocks no katie holmes not enough character linda carter was a knock out so get another beautiful smart lady with lots of character also height and weight should factor in how about the wrestler lady trish

  176. Anonymous • August 19, 2007 @ 6:38 AM

If they go with a wrestler, it has to be Chynna.

  177. Pudding King • August 19, 2007 @ 7:05 AM

    Alyssa Milano
    Danica McKellar
    Sarah Jessica Parker

  178. Angela • August 19, 2007 @ 9:00 AM

    Catherine Zeta-Jones!

She’d be a natural, has the look, the body and is a little older than the other choices – she’s not so “cute” looking.

  179. Trixie • August 19, 2007 @ 10:00 AM

To Now you can end the debate, your humour is very funny. Lindsay Lohan could certainly make it a comedy. She was good in other movies but I think she was not a party girl then. As for Judge Judy she would certainly kick ass with that rope, but she is too short and kind a wrinkly. She would also be fun to watch if it were a comedy. I like the idea of Linda Carter having a cameo in the film, maybe as the current day WW’s mother.

  180. Uncle Monty • August 19, 2007 @ 10:43 AM

Or perhaps Jeri Ryan…wonder what she looks like when a brunette!

  184. i like stuff • August 19, 2007 @ 12:45 PM

    Bea Arthur

  191. Anonymous • August 20, 2007 @ 12:44 AM

They should give Katie the role ONLY if Sarah Jessica Parker turns it down.

  192. Anonymous • August 20, 2007 @ 12:50 AM

I say Mariah Carey, but it’d be interesting to hear who Linda Gray thinks they should cast.

  193. Wally • August 20, 2007 @ 7:20 AM

Gosh, Joan Collins would be perfect, and George Clooney is the ideal Major Trevor.

  194. A Fellow • August 20, 2007 @ 7:37 AM

I always thought Jaclyn Smith would be a great WW.

  195. Linda Gray • August 20, 2007 @ 7:41 AM

Of my contemporaries, the woman who best exemplifies the grace, poise, and beauty of Wonder Woman is Shania. I know there will be those who disagree, but I don’t see Sarah Jessica Parker as Wonder Woman…

  196. Ned Walsh • August 20, 2007 @ 7:44 AM

  210. Edith Stobbart • August 21, 2007 @ 9:02 PM

Kelly Clarkson, are you out of your mind?????
They’re looking for an actress not a singer!!
Anyways, I think that Sandra Bullock wouldn’t be a bad choice. What do you all think?

  211. MarcoPlo • August 21, 2007 @ 11:21 PM

    NONE of the above!

WW must go to an unknown 20-25 yr old, Brunette with natural BLUE eyes!
Just like they did with Lynda Carter!

  212. Josie • August 22, 2007 @ 1:31 AM

Ahhhh…come on..it has to be either Lucy Lawless, or Angelina Jolie. I can’t see Katie Holmes flying an invisible plane, can u?

im gonna go with that hot brunette chick from transformers… she actually looks like wonder woman and she cant act to boot.
im sorry but katie holmes is an ugly pig dog and needs to stay as far away from anything tv/movie/camera so that no more children die of fright.

  217. G • August 22, 2007 @ 7:11 PM

I would like to see Jennifer Aniston as the Wonder Woman.

  218. Karilu • August 23, 2007 @ 3:42 AM

Definety not Katie. The movie will flop if you put her in.We have all had enough of the Cruises. Would not and will not ever watch it if Katie is in it. Listen Kate, you made your bed now lie in it, you will always be Mrs. T. Cruise. You are now tarnished for life. Besides seen your stuff and after Dawson’s Creek , not been much to see. And once you hooked up with the super joker, not much interested any more. Stick to being a Mom, and staying out of clubs and movies ect that don’t want you……

  219. Karilu • August 23, 2007 @ 3:46 AM

Hey that Victoria , who is THE ONLY ONE in favour of Katie…Is that the BF Beckom

  220. Karilu • August 23, 2007 @ 3:46 AM

    Sorry Beckcom

  221. melo • August 23, 2007 @ 4:49 AM

look the olny person in my book who should play THE wonder woman is Lucy Lawless (the chick who played Xena), tall, muscular and for hells sake NOT blond(ok nows shes blond but its curable). and not some talenless whip.

  222. cheryl • August 23, 2007 @ 4:55 AM

lmao….from justin to kelly? are you kidding me the question is did you see it???? hands down worst movie I ever saw,, I actually watch that when I want a good laugh….

  227. Anonymous • August 23, 2007 @ 3:34 PM

not jennifer gardner… its jennifer garner first off and no… shes ugly and she was already elektra, they cant have her be two different comic book characters

  228. quinn • August 24, 2007 @ 1:15 AM

There is something about female superheros. They flop on screen, did anyone ever see supergirl, catwoman and bard wire. I rest my case. Maybe in a tv series. And get an unknown. Please.

  229. jill • August 24, 2007 @ 9:53 PM

I have to agree, Catherine Zeta Jones.
Or an ‘unknown’ who is tall, strong, 30ish..cast with a popular actor…eg. Josh Hartnett..

  230. Jack • August 27, 2007 @ 11:03 PM

Nadia Bjorlin is my choice, and the best one. Katie Holmes must of got a tip from her agent, that they are getting ready to cast for the JLA movie.Catherine Zeta Jones would probably be Wonder Woman but she doesn’t want the role. And would come with a hefty price tag. Jessica Biel was once a great choice. But if she is going to be nude in her next movie, she will hurt her chances. That is one of the reason Charisma Carpenter was not getting the part. They want a little known actress with a sqeeky clean background. to play Wonder Woman. and Nadia is it. They want to spring on the public a beautiful unknown that will get the public’s attention.

  231. AngelRebel • September 2, 2007 @ 7:31 PM

I vote for myself. . . AngelRebel from Myspace.com is the perfect candidate!

  232. nannasty1 • September 4, 2007 @ 2:51 PM

I think people should get off Katie’s back and wait and see if they pick her they must think she can do it…..I do think Angelina might be a good choice but she would have to pull off the innocent part of the character and Katie is probably better for that, maybe Evangeline Lily, or Jessica Biel…..but we will all have to wait and see right….but none of us know Katie personally so lets stop judging her on what we think we know and let her live her life….too much of that out there..what judging someone makes us somehow feel better about who we are, it should make us feel worse!

  233. larry • August 15, 2012 @ 4:25 PM

if they made this 10 years ago it would be lucy lawless but now mabye angelina if she gained 15 pounds.
