As more details emerge about the problems in Russell Brand and Katy Perry’s marriage, a source told Heat magazine that Katy’s relationhips with her exes was one of the things that drove a wedge in between the married couple. The source says she confided private details about their relationship to ex-boyfriend Travie McCoy, saying, “It’s fair to say that she opened up to him about how hard her marriage had come. Travie never really ‘got’ Russell or their marriage.” According to the magazine, Perry also had a close bond with model Josh Kloss, who appeared in her ‘Teenage Dream’ video, which caused her husband some concern. Perry, who has decided not to attend tomorrow night’s People’s Choice Awards, is said to be crushed by the split and is considering joining Russell in England to discuss a reconciliation. A source told Grazia magazine: “She told Russell that if he’d agreed to marriage counselling, they wouldn’t be in this mess and tried to persuade him to fly back to the States and meet her. She’s now considering jetting to the UK as she’s desperate to see him and talk to him. She said she can’t stand that everything has been done over the phone and says she needs to see him before she can truly accept it’s over.”
