Keira Knightley “violated” after burglary

Keira Knightley is reportedly feeling “violated” after her home was burgled. The 25-year-old British actress has a stunning £1.3 million apartment in central London which she shares with her brother. The burglary is said to have happened on October 26, although Keira was not at home at the time — she was in Italy promoting her new movie Last Night. The thieves took two laptops and may have spent up to an hour rummaging through the star’s personal belongings. The incident is said to have left Keira feeling scared about returning to the dwelling. “Keira is mortified to think anyone has been rummaging around her personal stuff. She feels violated and doesn’t know if she wants to return to the property,” a senior police source told British newspaper The Sun. The thieves entered the building after managing to push open a faulty communal door. They then forced open the internal door which led to Keira’s home. The police don’t believe she was targeted because of her fame.

I’m surprised she does not have an alarm system.
I have Alarmforce here and it is connected to your phone line.
If someone tries to open my door or even break a window an alarm with a live person is activated and a security guard is sent to check the outside of my property…and they call my cell phone to tell me.

I think the thieves stole all of Keira’s sandwiches, because – as Samantha pointed out – she does look skeletal.

Yeah, an expensive home and no alarm. Or a communal door and nobody saw anything? The thieves were there for an hour maybe?????? How would they know they had time to be there for an hour if they didn’t know she was in Italy, seems targeted to me. And 2 laptops, no jewelry or anything, yes it seems targeted as those are pretty specific items which usually have everyones personal info in it. I hope she does move someplace to be safer.
