Kelly Preston takes first job since Jett’s death

Kelly Preston has accepted her first job offer since the death of her son, Jett Travolta, earlier this year. She’ll be playing Miley Cyrus‘ mother in The Last Song, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Though the movie began filming in Georgia on Monday, the scenes were involving Miley and her romantic lead, Liam Hemsworth. Preston and Greg Kinnear, who plays Miley’s dad, will soon join them on the set in Georgia. The Last Song is adapted by Disney from an upcoming Nicholas Sparks novel. The story centers on a rebellious teenager who is forced to spend the summer with her estranged father, a former Juilliard professor and concert pianist who left her years earlier.

good for kelly. i hope that she has some fun while filming. also, maybe this is a way for miley to really show that she is a good actress and not just hannah montana.
Moving on, not easy but necessary, good for her, they do seem like a fairly grounded family…and that is nice to see in Hollywood. I think they (she and John) get it.
Good for Kelly….she’s a gifted actress who chooses her films wisely…and the timing is good for her…it will help her with the grieving process to be back involved in a good film project…working amongst her peers and she’s lucky too to have a great relationship with her husband…I love John Travolta…always did…great dancer and fabulous actor…they make an adorable couple…God Bless them…
good for her.. i really feel for her, but who knows! maybe working on a few projects can get her mind off of it just for a while 🙂 ahh it must be so hard for her… on another note, this movie is going to be amazing. miley did a great job with the hannah montana movie, and it’s going to be excellent to see her in another role.
