Khloe Kardashian sued for assault and battery

Reality star Khloe Kardashian, 27, is being sued for assault and battery by a transgender woman who says Kardashian brutally attacked her on December 5, 2009 outside a Hollywood nightclub. Chantal Spears, formerly known as Ronald Spears, says the incident stemmed from a comment she made to Kardashian’s husband, Lamar. “All I was telling Lamar Odom is maybe he is too young to get married and all of a sudden I get this big push from this girl,” Spears told TMZ.com. Although she told police “Khloe pushed and hit me,” no charges were laid at the time. The suit states that Kardashian and a number of her friends “assaulted and battered plaintiff by violently striking plaintiff in and about her body.” It goes on to say the attack caused “extreme and severe mental anguish and physical pain.” Kardashian, who at 5′ 10″ is a big woman, has not commented on the matter. Spears is asking for unspecified “general, exemplary and punitive” damages, as well as medical expenses.
