Kidman calls Cruise “manipulative”

Nicole Kidman, who is pregnant with her first child with second husband Keith Urban, has accused ex-husband, Tom Cruise, of turning their children against her. The actress told Heat magazine of her adopted children with Cruise — Isabella, 15, and 13-year-old Connor: “It’s a pity they have been manipulated by their father to distance themselves from me.” Kidman complained that she wanted to see her children on Mothers’ Day but instead they wound up spending it with Cruise and his third wife, Katie Holmes. Kidman admitted: “They are closer to their new mom now.”
“They are closer to their new mom now.”……YOU are their mom! Katie can love them and they can love her but she is their stepmom and you are their mom!! Tom Cruise is one of the biggest idiots! I have absolutely NO DOUBT that those kids should have been with their ‘MOM’ and her with them…on Mother’s Day!
Cruise is a pig. Their ‘new’ mom is a robot. Scientology is alarming.

Poor, poor Nicole. Always the victim and martyr. Interesting that she should chose to use the word “manipulate”. She of all people knows what it means. She does it on a daily basis to the media and those who chose to swallow her story. Not that I don’t think Tom is looney tunes, it’s just that Nicole is not as innocent as she pretends. Remember there’s three sides to every story: his, hers, and the truth.

Don’t get me wrong – TC is no prize either.
It is difficult to spend time with your children when you choose to live in other states or even countries! Nicole is the adult and is financially set – she should and could spend more time during the school year where the children live if she made the effort. It��s hard not to see your children if you live nearby.
As a parent, I would be hard pressed to allow my children, especially my teenaged daughter to hang out with my ex’s womanizing substance abuser husband though.

Ya I do think that the kids have a choice of whom to spend time with but then again tom is crazy and who knows what he does and says to kate and the kids behind closed doors. But the Nicole is their mother the kids should have made an effort to see their mom on her day and tom should have made an effort also, nicole did help raise those kids.
They absolutely should have been with her. No question, and I think Tom is a pig for not making sure they were with their mom. He obviously is not too concerned about them, or he’d make an effort to teach them what a real man is like, he’d show concern for their mother, because she IS their mother. He doesn’t have to like her, but for their sake he should make an effort. But I think he’s filling their heads, and little Suri’s head, with all his Scientology crap. What an idiot, he’s been brainwashed and now he’s brainwashing them.
As for MissKitty, Keith has been to rehab and hopefully has his addiction under control. We all make mistakes and pay for them. Whether Tom or anyone else such as yourself, like it or not as long as things are under control and taken care of, she has every right to have her children spend time with her…EVEN AT HER HOME IN AUSTRALIA. As far as I know, child services has no intention of taking her baby away when it is born….into the home where Keith Urban lives!! They are definately not hurting for cash so they can take a plane….maybe if she was allowed to spend time with them, she would even go to the US…I’m sure she must own a home there, somewhere in the US. I would also love to see or hear your proof that she is a manipulator! Tom Cruise is a Nazi and a Scientologist. He is nuts, plain and simple. His wife IS a robot, as per the comments above. HE is the child Molestor, for the record. His daughter is now getting old enough for him to pursue sexually, as she is almost Katie’s age when he met her, and If I were Nicole, THAT’S where I wouldn’t let my kids be. i don’t believe this to be a true statement. i’m a huge fan of nicole kidman and i understand as much as anybody the situation between herself and tom cruise (and katie holmes and the kids). but i seriously doubt she said this. the magazine must’ve ‘manipulated’ her words. not that i know her but i’ve seen enough of her to know that she would not accuse her ex-husband and be so aggressive. she’s way too demure and polite to be like that. can you honestly picture her saying this?

I believe they have shared custody so Nicole should be legally demanding equal time. The kids can go to school in Austin or wherever she and Keith live. That being said, the kids are old enough to make decisions themselves too so if they have been brain-washed (I have read that they go to Scientology school etc) I am sure they see their mom as an outsider and who knows what Tom calls her as she is not a Scientologist, so maybe they are saying they don’t want to see her. Oh well, let’s hope Katie is still normal enough to offer some motherly care for the kids.

you know what i would done if my ex didnt bring my kids to see me on mothers day… i’d go to his house and see my kids, tell him its mothers day and i;m taking them out for the day and dinner, so you can have time with your wife on mothers day with her kid… like his kids go to said mothers house for that day… and if he says no, may God help his soul

Does anyone else think that it is odd that TC and NK adopted those 2 girls b/c supposedly they couldn’t have any themselves and yet 16 years later here they are with different spouses and having kiddies??? Seems odd to me.
They adopted a girl and a boy, not 2 girls. But yeah, I have thought the same thing. I think maybe since he couldn’t brainwash Nicole, she wasn’t quite good enough for him to make a child with. But he has brainwashed Katie, so she was ok to make a baby with. I hope she soon comes out of her stupor.
Or maybe, maybe he is unable, maybe Nicole insisted on getting pregnant naturally, and Katie just did it however he wanted…???
Personally, I think Nicole only stayed with Tom because he is, well, Tom Cruise. He was good for her career at the time. They were a ‘power couple’. She’s not stupid though, she knew better than to bring a child into the world with him and all of his scientology crap! She probably gave him a story about how she couldn’t get pregnant but, when he wanted to adopt, there was no way out of that one.
Sorsha, Nicole and Tom tried to have children. I believe Nicole had a couple of miscarriages. Some people do go on to have children even after miscarrying.
None of us knows what these people are really like, so who are we to judge?
Very interesting comments indeed. Some I agree with and some I disagree with and it’s totally okay to agree to disagree.
I used to be a huge Tom Cruise fan, major emphasis on USED to be. I haven’t seen any of his movies since War of the Worlds. With his antics over the last 2.5 years, he’s not getting my money anymore. Whether Nicole said this comment or not, she has a right to see her kids when she wants to and he should not be discouraging this, if this is true.
As for “Sorsha” and your comments. Kudos! I have only shared this with friends but I do find it fascinating that when TC was married to his first wife, Mimi Rogers, for 3 years before he dumped her, she never got pregnant. And by the way, after their divorce was final she did say in an interview, “I look forward to the day when I’m no longer associated with that f-ing name”. Since then, Mimi remarried and has 4 kids – all biological.
Then he marries Nicole (she was 26) and is with her for 9 years and 11 months. Yes, that’s right folks, because Mr. “I better not stop the money train so I guess I better start apologizing by appearing on Oprah” Cruise divorced her before the 10 year anniversary because in the State of California, after 10 years of marriage, a spouse gets 50% of the income. They have no biological kids but adopted Isabel and Conner.
Then he dumps Nicole and is now with Katie “I love him because he provides me with the money to buy expensive clothes that I could never afford before and movie roles that would have passed by my mailbox” Holmes and has a biological daughter. So you tell me?
It’s either that he’s conveniently sterile with his former wives or they were smart enough not to get pregnant because of the Scientology nonsense the occurred behind the scenes during their respective marriages.
As far as I’m concerned the interview he did with Oprah in the start of May was a “damage control interview” because Lions of the Lambs was a major bomb and his former production studio, United Artists or something like that, dropped him like a hot potato. So he’s feeling it now and wants to get on everybody’s good side. Forgiveness is a wonderful thing but I will never support his movies in the theatre or on DVD ever again.
As for Katie Holmes, enjoy the ride and gravy train while it lasts my dear because you will never grow old with Tom Cruise. When he tires of you or gets a hint that you’re not deeply into Scientology like he is, and because you are a Catholic girl at heart, just like Nicole is, he’ll kick your butt to the curb just like he did the others. But not to worry because her daddy drafted up an ironclad prenup that should take care of her shopping habits for the rest of her life.
