Kristen Stewart to replace Angelina Jolie

By Alexandra Heilbron on April 23, 2010 | 12 Comments

kristen_stewart_bangKristen Stewart is being lined up to replace Angelina Jolie in the sequel to Wanted and has met with Timur Bekmambetov, the director. According to the E! News service Timur wants Kristen to play a new young assassin alongside James McAvoy. Angelina’s character, Fox, was killed off at the end of the first film, but Timur had  planned to bring her back in the second instalment. He said: “We know how to do this, but it’s still tough to do, because there is a bullet inside her head. But there has to be a reason for her to come back – and we know the reason. I think we found the reason for her to come back.” Angelina, however, has reportedly distanced herself from the project. Meanwhile, Kristen is scheduled to film the fourth Twilight film, Breaking Dawn – which will be released in two parts – starting this October.

Kristen should be playing a new character not playing a character who is way older in a previous movie.

she would be good, she has the emotional range of teaspoon, just what the role calls foe.

why does she even have another job?? she is horrible with all her constant blinking and don’t forget her great signature look no its not blue steel but “i am doing long division in my head” she should find an acting coach or call ben stiller

As long as she shows some of the good stuff, I don’t care. I will forget the fact that she a horrible actress!!!

I think she will do absolutely fine in the role. Kristen Stewart is a fine actor. Don’t judge her from the Twilight Saga….nobody can make anything out of that material and script. Take a look at some of her independent film roles: The Yellow Handkerchief, Adventrueland, The Cake Eaters and most recently The Runaways. This girl is the real deal.

anonymous2 on April 23, 2010 3:37 PM i agree with you. she doesnt even look like angelina so how is she going to be able to pull this off?

i look forward to the sequel because i did enjoy wanted. i liked james mcavoy and i think angelina played the role perfectly.

kristen also played in another movie, i cant remember what it was called, if youre interested you could look her up and find it in her filmography, she was raped in it and has to deal with the emotions that follow. it doesnt really show it, just some flashbacks, she was younger then and she was a good actress for the movie.

She was better in the second Twilight movie. I think her performance in the first one can be blamed on the director, since Kristen wasn’t the only one who looked really bad in the first one and then strangely enough, everyone was good in the second. They should redo the first with a competent director and stick closer to the book, like they did with New Moon. The changes ruined the story.
