Joan Rivers may claim her new book Diary of a Mad Diva is purely satire in its prologue but that didn’t stop Snow White & the Huntsman actress Kristen Stewart from taking offense. Due out in stores next month, Joan’s book contains a not-so-flattering picture of Kristen’s role in Hollywood, insinuating Kristen uses the famed “casting couch” to keep her career going. The quote causing all the fuss is: “Many stars only do one thing well. Of course, the best one-trick-pony is Kristen Stewart, who got a whole career by being able to juggle a director’s balls.” Joan is obviously referring to Kristen’s well-publicized affair with director Rupert Sanders. TMZ is reporting that Kristen’s lawyer threatened to sue Joan for defamation unless the quote was taken out, but the author doesn’t care and says the quote will remain in her book. ~Andrea Hodgins
