Kristin Davis, who played perky art dealer Charlotte York Goldenblatt in the hit television show and in the first film adaptation, promises audiences will be thrilled with Sex and the City 2. “I know the ideas, but, you know, I can’t tell you the ideas,” she says. “I know the ideas overall, and [they are] very, very exciting… [Charlotte] had a child last time, so now [she’ll] have two, and we’ll have to see what that’s like for her. You never know!” It was revealed in January that all four leading ladies, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Davis, had signed on to do the second film, and Davis can’t wait to get the gang back together. “We’re so spread out right now–it’s mostly e-mail. We’re very excited,” she told Us Weekly. “Sarah’s working on another movie right now, Cynthia is still doing her play–we’re all kind of spread out. But we’ll be back together soon.” Also, she says, “Any time we get to work together, we’re so lucky and so happy.” Sex and the City fans will get to share in the excitement around May 28, 2010, when the film is scheduled for release. ~Meryl H.
