Lady Gaga calls PETA violent and abusive

By Tribute on August 19, 2012 | 11 Comments

Lady Gaga is standing her ground after being attacked by PETA for wearing fur. On Monday, the pop singer was accused of backing down from her anti-fur stance by wearing animal pelts in recent photos. PETA blasted the singer saying, “By wearing those dumb furs in a heat wave, you’re making yourself a target just like the mindless Kim Kardashian.” In response, the Poker Face singer wrote a blog post for her fans. “To the fans,” she began, “I want you to know that I care deeply about your feelings and views, and I will always support your philosophies about life… I do not however support violent, abusive, and childish campaigns for ANY CAUSE. Particularly one that I respect. ‘Animal Rights.’” In her post, Gaga made no apologies about wearing clothing derived from animals, such as her alligator-skin accessories or her infamous meat dress. As far as the pop star is concerned, it’s all in the name of art. “I have no chains about this,” she said, “You see a carcass, I see a museum pièce de résistance.” However, some of her fans were outraged, with one commenting: “The Little Monster is turning out to be you, Lady Gaga. You wear fur as if it were a statement of superiority. It’s not.” Another wrote: “No longer a fan burned all my CD’s. If you(or Gag Gag) wants to be furry…STOP SHAVING..you were born that way.” ~Isabelle Khoo

When you deranged from Mason/Illuminati grps your mind get so screwed up that it thinks wearing furs and skins of animals is saying you love them. That’s still because she can’t decide what gender she is so she’s still stuck in between realms. She’s doing all this for attention I would just ignore her.

I don’t care if its Lady Gaga, I absolutely detest PETA. They seem to have nothing else to do but go after celebrities (wasting funds to buy a date with beyonce so they can throw shit at her, etc.). If they really wanted to make a difference, how about funding animal shelters or make cat spay programs?

Just the picture of her in the fur holding the dog just unnerves me. Ugh….first the “ingredients” in her perfume now the fur with the dog. She is getting on my nerves

I would be terrified for my life if I were that dog… engulfed in all that fur. Am I being carried away by a giant predator? Did somebody skin my family? What the heck is going on here?

Yup, if I were that dog I would be a nervous alcoholic.

When you put yourself on a podium and think you know better than anyone else, you act like Gaga. She is Gagaand a Madonna wannabe.

    Boycott the gaga madness.

i love the last quote someone wrote on twitter that they put in the article.
She may see art in fur, but at the expense of a poor animal? I don’t think PETA or GAGA is in any right in this case. Yes, PETA’s tactics are harsh and violent and embarrassing. I agree with ‘Hmmm” let’s see PETA’s funding go towards pet hospitals and shelters and such, instead of buing buckets of paint and blood etc.

She can gaga on my piece de resistance; but, yes, wearing furs is ridiculous unless you live in a cold environment, even then technology has good alternatives. Mink farms should be banned.
Society is basically screwed up anyways with two sets of rules, one for the rich and one for the middle class/poor.

PETA = Terrorists! When you support PETA you support urban terrorism. They use fear and intimidation to push there agenda just like the other terrorists, the only difference is they have not killed anyone yet. I really mean yet! They lie and and spread false propaganda, this organization should be outlawed like Hezbola and Al Quida and to donate to them should be a crime! Animals should be treated fairly and with compassion but they are NOT equals!
