LAPD investigate Selena Gomez death threat

Disney actress/singer Selena Gomez, 19, has received a death threat from a 46-year-old man. Thomas Brodnicki, who been charged in the past with stalking, allegedly told his therapist he was planning to kill Selena. He revealed that he’d traveled from Chicago to Los Angeles to meet her, visited the Burbank studios where she tapes her Disney show Wizards of Waverly Place on at least three occasions and said he’s had conversations with God about killing her. The Los Angeles Police Department is taking the threat seriously due to Brodnicki’s history of stalking and mental illness. Selena, who is dating Justin Bieber, filed papers with the court requesting a restraining order, saying: “I am in extreme fear of Mr. Brodnicki due to his direct threat on my life, his obsessive, harassing and threatening behavior towards me as well as his criminal history of stalking. I feel that my personal safety as well as the safety of those around me is in jeopardy.” Selena was granted a temporary restraining order that requires him to stay 100 yards away from her, her mother, her stepfather, her assistant and her workplace until a November 4th hearing, at which point the order may be extended for up to three years.

Singer Selena Gomez’s Instagram was briefly shut down after hackers took over the account and posted nude photos of her ex boyfriend, Justin Bieber.
Psychopathic pedophelia is stronger today than it was 20 years ago, men in this state of mind are feeling the need to be aggressive towards younger women, especially at their age being much older, it appears that these are young women they are obsessed with having that they could not have when they were younger; that explains why their power and threats can be done because they are in a position to control things as an adult rather than a teenager or young adult. I keep asking myself why jails were built in the first place, but in the last 50 years, almost 9/10 men in a prison cell is locked up for something to do with sexual assault or pedophelia. Quite disturbing but it’s the truth.

The same thing in the Shania Twain case, these men, just because they can’t fulfill their sexual desired fantasies their obsession becomes aggression towards these women because the women are putting up road blocks to stop them. In their perverse minds, they see it as a challenge. This obsessive compulsion in men to act out what they think they should have goes very far too often. Just to clarify I am a guy, my younger sister watches WOWP. Not sure what other guys have going on in their minds, but it’s not a safe world wherever their heads are.
What bothers me is that people like this are not being mandated to go for help. A 3 year extension of a restraining order is a band-aid placed over a hole in a cup. Eventually it will fall off.
This whole thing is disturbing, but what bothers me most is that her only defence is a piece of paper. It just sounds so wrong to rely on a court order. This guy is not playing with a full deck, so I’m certain a restraining order is NOT going to restrain him.
Selena Gomez was named after the other Selena that was murdered and I often thought how tragic it would be if history repeated itself.
I hope she stays safe and I hope our little Canadian Justin is safe while with her.
Yes I agree that a 46 yr. man is too old to bother/follow a 19 yr. old that Doesn’t even know him. Don’t get me wrong, a man who is 46 isn’t old. Instead of doing something constructive and Positive with his Life, he is wasting his it bothering her for absolutely No Reason! It’s just wrong.
