LAPD investigating Hollywood’s pedophile ring

By Tribute on November 9, 2017 | 13 Comments

Corey FeldmanLos Angeles police have opened up an investigation after former child actor Corey Feldman revealed information about an alleged pedophile ring in Hollywood.

In a conversation with the Hollywood Reporter, LAPD detective Ross Nemeroff confirmed that an investigation has been opened after Feldman filed a report earlier this week. Nemeroff said, “When a report is filed on something as severe as this, an investigation is opened by the robbery/homicide division, which also handles sex crimes.”

The Goonies actor has been vocal about an alleged pedophile ring in Hollywood, and following the public allegations against Harvey Weinstein last month, Feldman has been on a campaign to expose the alleged abuse that he, former co-star Corey Haim and many others have been subjected to as children in the industry.

In an interview with Matt Lauer and Megyn Kelly, Feldman said the reason he hasn’t previously named perpetrators is due to concerns for his safety, saying he needs a team of lawyers and security to protect him while he gets his message out, adding, “I vow that I will release every single name that I have knowledge of, period. And nobody is going to stop this.”

Feldman has also launched a $10 million public fundraising campaign to make a documentary that he says will be the most honest and true depiction of child abuse. To date this campaign has raised over $200,000. ~Hayley Michaud

lets see what influence Hollywood has with law enforcement,
it would be nice to see Spacey and Wienstien share the same cell
then Meryl Street can visit them both at the same time !

By the way…it’s Meryl Streep…not Street. But we are on the same page. Dying to hear what Corey has to say – I know he’s going to drop a major bombshell.

If he is so eager to have these names released, just do it.
He wants a job out of it as well $10,000,000. Give me a break !!
Lawyers, security, I think this guy is gone a little nuts since his last job 30 years ago.
I didn’t wait 30 years, or add a price tag to my revealing names.
I went to the police when I was 12, the most difficult thing I have ever done.
I was more concerned that the perpetrators be arrested, so they couldn’t do it to anyone else.
Not to create my own job market !!!!

This is awful. I guess when a celebrity hasn’t been in the news for awhile, they jump on whatever’s the biggest story is at the time. I love Corey Feldman, but I really wish he would be advocating something that would help all the recent shooting victims. I believe that is the bigger story. Is the government on top of that problem? Where is the money for all the families of the lost lives?

Really marie? You’d rather he advocate for the families of the shooting victims than for children preyed upon by pedophiles?

Everybody who thinks he just started saying this jumping on a band wagon Corey has been saying this for many years now well before the Weinstein incident he just hasn’t been that loud about it till now

OMG , now , they brought back the past – years ago , an interview with Corey Feldman revealed his experienced in Hollywood Life but refused to give names and yet nobody taken him seriously .

After this has been out for awhile, there won’t be many people left in Hollywood, or the world who hasn’t been part of it. Victims and perpetrators. I like Corey Feldman and watched him on ‘Dr. Oz’ recently, but some of the comments here made me think about what he is really doing. Yes, is good. But money and a movie is not necessary. And the timing, where he could have done it years ago. Probably safer now, but… And tomorrow, Friday, ‘Dr. Oz’ is about Corey Haim being assaulted before his death, of course. Interesting to see how far this goes…but too bad it happens at all. I mean the abuse. I guess better late than never.

I commented on this story when it first came out. Similar comments but I did mention about the money and the movie again, which is for Corey to gain more fame and money. He said he was on tour when he said he had to do this, but I think he is trying to grab the cash.Kind of as bad as the people who pay the victims or accept money from the abusers. That’s Hollywood!

Only a pedophile would suggest a victim of child sex abuse should shut up about it and focus on something else. Maybe Corey could start a fundraising campaign to buy ‘Marie’ a brain.

When I first read of this a while back, I too thought it was just for a cash grab; who knows, maybe it is. But after reading this article, specifically the part about fearing for their safety, it makes sense that they would require THAT much money. Lawyers, security, film budget… none of that comes ‘cheap’. Of course, I’d expect them to also skim some off the top, but really, if they’re doing a public service like this, putting their own lives at ‘risk’… meh. I don’t really care what they do with any ‘extra’ funds. Not like it was ever coming this way anyhow!

As a child victim myself and a fan of Corey Feldman, I’m disappointed with him. I understand the fear that he lives with but his silence all of these years and his decision not to name his abusers and those involved has possibly allowed many other children to have suffered the same abuse. In light of recent accusations against those in the industry, now is the time to lay it all out. Bring them down. He’ll have he support of men and women who’ve already spoken out. There is safety in numbers.
Sadly, if he conintues to stay silent, he is perpetrating these crimes and my respect is gone.

Do it already Corey! Stand up and shout! Name them all! Stop the abusers! You don’t need money to do that!

To Derek Beaupre, in regards to your comment “I was more concerned that the perpetrators be arrested, so they couldn’t do it to anyone else.
Not to create my own job market !!!!”
Why try to make yourself look like a hero just so you can slap someone else down who hasn’t really come forward yet???? You were never concerned about anybody but yourself, and you KNOW IT — you did NOT report it because you were worried about any future victims as you claim. You were 12 yrs old…..get real.
