Country singer LeAnn Rimes and actor Eddie Cibrian were recently spotted kissing at a diner in Laguna Beach, California, despite the fact that both are married to other people. They also reportedly had a three-hour rendezvous at the Malibu Beach Inn a week later. Rimes and Cibrian connected on the set of their upcoming TV movie, Northern Lights, in which they star as lovers. “From the moment we rehearsed, LeAnn and Eddie honestly developed a really strong bond and a warm relationship,” director Mike Robe said, prior to news of the affair. Rimes, 26, has been married to her former back-up dancer, Dean Sheremet, for seven years. Cibrian, 35, and his model wife Brandi Glanville have been married almost eight years and have two children, aged five and 23 months. Sounds like Rimes didn’t think it went both ways when she sang her hit song Commitment, which went: “I need honor and love in my life from somebody who’s playin’ for keeps.” Rimes has posted the following statement on her website: “This is a difficult time for me and my loved ones… this is a place for you to hear things directly from me and as you all know, not everything in our lives is always black and white.” Doesn’t sound much like a denial.
Going by looks and looks alone, Eddie Cibrian MIGHT scrape by on my top ten. I used to love watching Third Watch. I cannot stand people who can’t control themselves long enough to work out their family issues and they go and cheat on their spouse. ESPECIALLY when children are involved!
agreed Nancy on both counts. Eddie is handsome but sometimes i think dimples are too cute its distracting. and on the issues thing. i just can’t respect anyone who would dishonor someone they vowed ‘to love and cherish till their dying day’…
This is extremely disheartening. Why would someone EVER feel the need to cheat on someone? Divorce and separation is clearly, and widely accepted in today’s society. I totally agree with working out family issues privately and BEFORE anything like this happens. Some people are so selfish. There is no excuse that makes this right. I feel bad for their respective others and especially the children involved.
I don’t really understand why alot of performers havn’t realized or even been warned that in showbiz, its easy to connect with another college. At a time when an actor’s characters, (ones perhaps being developed for months or even years) are put into romantic situation that would grant the feelings required to have believability. We see it on a constant basis with celebrities, dumping or cheating on there partner to establish a possible “Illusional” attraction to the person they were last or currently working with.
I myself have had these sort of feelings when I was in the business, thank haven my mentor at the time warned me about this sort of thing so i was much more aware. My mentor also told me that when you work in that sort of industry you must have a very strong foundation in your relationship. Reason being that the relationship will be put to the ultimate test at times so it has to be strong and there has to be trust.
I’m not saying that this is necessarily the case but i think they need to be aware that the feelings they may have could very well be an illusion created by the situation. And now these two “love birds” are really going to have to work to get the trust of there spouses, if its at all possible now.
You’re right ke. I completely missed those dimples! They are pretty big for such a little smile, aren’t they? 😛 Could hide stuff in there!
Right on Nancy. Throw water on them and cool it down.
If it was because of a physical attraction I’m not sure why a cute dude like him would be tempted enough to risk his marriage by someone like LeeAnn Rimes………..ick.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
