Heath Ledger as The JokerMattel is releasing a line of dolls from the new Batman film The Dark Knight, including several in the image of late actor Heath Ledger in his role as “The Joker.” Ledger had finished filming the movie when he was found dead in his New York apartment last month. Two versions of the Heath “Joker” doll will hit stores in May — one comes with a rocket launcher and the other is armed with a knife. A spokesman for the star’s family says, “Heath was very proud of his work in the film and his family is aware and supportive of the plans for the movie.”

they’ll fly off the shelf and end up on the 2098 antiques roadshow. note to collectors: don’t play with the dolls and keep the boxes and your receipts.

I doubt I’ll still be alive in 2098, so I’m not gonna sweat it, I’m gonna do the unthinkable, I’m gonna take those dolls out of the boxes!

And, um, what are ya gonna do with them???? Did you get Bai Ling to steal batteries for you??? LMAO

  8. tributegirl • February 20, 2008 @ 1:09 PM

Nope, I’ll go out and buy my own batteries, legally too. Then I’ll take the dolls out of the boxes, throw the boxes into the recycling, and I’ll do the unthinkable, …I’ll actually let my kids play with the dolls!
(actually I won’t really be buying these!)

oh yes you will, you won’t be able to resist. then you’ll sit at the table and have make-believe tea and cookies with them. then you’ll take their dolly clothes off and give them a bath because they spilled the make-believe tea all over their clothes. don’t worry, they aren’t likely going to be anatomically correct so you won’t be offended and if you’re really lucky, batteries may be included!

Yeah, ok then, lets bring Tom to tribute! He can fix us all! He will have us all jumping up and down on our couches in no time! He may have a bit of a challenge fixing anonymous, but I have faith in him knowledge and abilities! LMFAO!!!!!

In HIS knowledge and abilities, sorry about the typo!

  15. me • February 22, 2008 @ 9:21 AM

    LMFAO, what it that???

  16. Anonymous • February 23, 2008 @ 1:11 AM

and what is wrong with the occasional doll tea party? that may be the problem with tommy boy, nobody invited him to one and that left him vulnerable to the influences of the wackos.

he probably could benefit by one now though. some branches of psychiatry actually use dolls in play therapy to help patients overcome traumatic events from their childhood.

mind you, a doll depicting the joker may be the ultimate joke in that situation!!!
