Good for Leo, I’m sure he’ll do a great job, And speaking of a great job, I saw Revolutionary Road today, wonderful movie, and both and Kate played their roles to perfection.

  2. ke • January 15, 2009 @ 7:09 PM

Ok, this really doesn’t have anything to do with the article but I’m wondering where these articles are coming from. I’m starting to get annoyed by all the grammatical errors. Just in this one article there are at least 4. I don’t mean to be ‘anal’ about this but it just seems to take away from the integrity of the site. Unless they just don’t care.

  3. Coop • January 15, 2009 @ 7:34 PM

    Ke,your right.You DO sound anal.

  4. Jo-Anne. • January 15, 2009 @ 7:34 PM

interesting comment, ke, and it has been like that for awhile

I make a few myself, and sometimes even go back to correct them before people pounce on it, (sometimes can’t be bothered) but you’d think the actual articles would be proofed…..

  5. Nancy • January 15, 2009 @ 8:09 PM

And yet….who’s doing all the pouncing? Most of us don’t care if there are a couple spelling errors. Big deal! We ALL make them once in a while, don’t we?

  6. Anonymous • January 15, 2009 @ 8:27 PM

    Its annoying

  7. Nancy • January 15, 2009 @ 8:47 PM

Jo-Anne is annoying too but yet she’s still here!! LMFAO! Jo Jo is always so quick to point out others flaws….she said before that she has a degree in ‘Journalism’, I believe it was…?? Yet, she NEVER starts her sentences with a capital. I could care less about spelling errors really, unless there are so many that it makes it really hard to read but…people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones, right?

  8. Jo-Anne. • January 15, 2009 @ 9:30 PM

actually correction, Nancy, I only point out your flaws ha ha

  9. Nancy • January 15, 2009 @ 9:37 PM

    I have none, remember?? 😛

  10. ke • January 15, 2009 @ 9:44 PM

there’s a difference between finding grammatical errors in the ‘comments’ and finding them within the actual article itself. there’s absolutely nothing wrong with typos if its from people posting their comment, otherwise it’s like complaining about all errors in the comments area posted on YouTube. But if a legitimate article has these mistakes, it just seems lousy and untidy.

and nancy, oh nancy, why are you picking on Jo-Anne yet again? I understand you don’t like each other but she didn’t even say a word about you. you’ve called her an instigator, right? aren’t you doing the same thing? And I believe she has a degree in Journalism. she writes articulately and her words reflect some maturity that you seem to have been robbed of. i don’t know how old you are but from what i’ve read you’re a grown woman and yet you call people names, still use LMFAO and reply obnoxiously. grow up, old woman.

  11. blah • January 15, 2009 @ 9:53 PM

Ke, grow up. There are no grammatical errors in the article, they’re typos. Not even spelling errors. You make mistakes pointing out other people’s mistakes. How pathetic are you? Get a therapist. Like all people who need to point out trivial mistakes made by others, obviously you have very low self esteem. Do something with your life, it’ll make you happier with yourself so you don’t need to walk around in a big angry bubble all the time.

  12. Jo-Anne. • January 15, 2009 @ 10:06 PM

    thank you, ke.
    refer to latest Swayze article….
I can’t even believe I am reading this
(I am the “old” one by the way, ha ha, also referred to lovingly, I am sure, as “Hagatha”…etc.) gotta love it.

“or have you forgotten in your old age alreadythat I am the one who is always saying that everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion on here without being called names and degraded because of it.”

  13. Nancy • January 15, 2009 @ 10:11 PM

Oh ke…Jo Jo didn’t say a word about me ON THIS ARTICLE…I didn’t come to this one first, I went to the Patrick Swayze one first and her instigating comment was on there instead! So, which “people” have I called names??? So what if I still use ‘LMFAO’? It’s short form for letting people know when you are laughing…and besides…it’s in a “comment” not “the actual article itself”! So YOU should grow up and realize that there are bigger issues in the world that HUMANS MAKING SPELLING ERRORS!!!

  14. ke • January 16, 2009 @ 1:20 AM

1- Calling her Jo Jo makes you sound really creepy.
2- If she didn’t insult you on this article then leave it be. Let it go. Wait for next time which I know must have you on a ventilator somewhere, itching to get your fingers back on the keyboard.
3- I wasn’t implying that LMFAO was a grammatical error. I wasn’t picking on you for that.
4- I was picking on you because I find grown women using acronyms better suited for teenagers rather odd. And funny.
5- There are bigger issues in the world? You mean bigger than the fact that there are slight grammatical errors in the articles featured on a Canadian movie/gossip website that probably nobody else cares about?
6- Woah! Be careful, you shouldn’t throw out such shocking things around just like that!

  15. mandee • January 16, 2009 @ 2:16 AM

wow. lol i cant go away for 1 day? hehehehehe. anyways, leo is completely sexy, and i wish him the best of luck. im sure he doesnt need luck, he is a very talented, dedicated actor. 🙂

  16. Nancy • January 16, 2009 @ 12:06 PM

Key words “acronyms better suited for teenagers”….better suited in YOUR opinion. That’s like me saying “behave normal”…my opinion of “normal” can vary from someone else’s opinion of normal…and for the record, I don’t think you are normal. I think Jo Jo has kissed your @$$ so many times that now you are returning the favour! ‘ke’ seems creepy too, wouldn’t you say? Now, if you think that “no one else cares about” this movie/gossip website, then WHY do you care so much about a couple errors? Oh, maybe you’re perfect…

  17. Nancy • January 16, 2009 @ 12:07 PM

  18. Tribute • January 16, 2009 @ 12:59 PM

Thanks to all who pointed out the typos. They’ve been corrected. Much appreciated.

  19. JJ • January 16, 2009 @ 1:45 PM

Although I do agree with Ke that numerous errors does affect the integrity of the site, but I also believe that the above comments also affect the integrity of the site. I wish people would just stick to the matter at hand which IS THE ARTICLE!!

TRIBUTE: I recommend you get rid of the “chat” section here and just allow comments to go to an editor for posting.

  20. Brenda Lee • January 16, 2009 @ 6:13 PM

That’s so great, Leo! You’re the best! Saw Revolutionary Road – loved it, you and Kate made a perfect couple! I hope to see both of you in another movie soon – can never go wrong with two amazing fantastic actors together. BEST OF LUCK WITH ALL THE UPCOMING AWARDS!!

  21. Sigh • January 16, 2009 @ 7:15 PM

Woohoo! Go Leo! Gotta love a guy who’ll stand up for the environment! I can’t wait to watch his latest movie 😀

side note > I agree with JJ (or perhaps we could have the option to report people who bring nothing to the table). Oh my, how I can picture it now – Nancy being banned from replying and boiling over it!

  22. Nancy • January 16, 2009 @ 7:27 PM

    Very doubtful…unlike you Jo, I have a life…LMAO

Side note > left hand column, “Problems/Ideas” OR top right hand corner “Contact Us”. Click on either one and “report” me all you like!! 😛

  23. Robyn • January 16, 2009 @ 7:59 PM

Nancy, In reference to your “Key words acronyms better suited for teenagers.better suited in YOUR opinion.” LMFAO is just plain weird for someone over the age of 12 to use. I have no idea how old you are but I can only assume with a name like Nancy you are not a “spring chicken” per say, so yes, that is creepy. Do you wear your kids’ clothes too and say things like “sweet” and “chillax?”
Grow up old lady and get a hobby other than picking on people on a website!!

  24. tributegirl • January 16, 2009 @ 8:01 PM

I’m sure you’ve been “reported” more than once, Nancy! But obviously you haven’t done anything wrong, or you’d be given the boot like that nasty little piece of work that threatened our lives and your kids lives!

Now as far as the article goes, I love Leo, he will be great in whatever he does. He just seems so genuine.

  25. tributegirl • January 16, 2009 @ 8:06 PM

Actually a lot of people use acronyms all the time, people of all ages, in e-mails, text messages, etc. It’s become part of the norm.

  26. Robyn • January 16, 2009 @ 8:22 PM

I realize that a lot of people use acronyms all of the time in the new technology, but in my opinion, for an older person, it is strange and creepy. The context of which it was used by Nancy was different than typing a quick text message and using the @ symbol to save time or using b/c rather than typing the whole word. However, when sitting at a computer typing, I would expect someone who criticizes people for not using capital letters to start a sentence to type the whole word rather than use an acronym. And if she is using a cell phone that does not have a key pad to have an internet argument, I would say again, get a hobby!!

  27. Nancy • January 16, 2009 @ 8:35 PM

Oh, so would you consider me more mature if I were to say that “I don’t mean to be ‘anal’ about this”? Also, I didn’t criticize Jo-Anne for not starting her sentences with a capital letter….I pointed out that a few mistakes are a natural part of life and that SHE makes them too!!!

Ok, so you want me to type the whole word do you, Robyn? Well…okay…laugh my f*cking @ss off!! Is that better? 😀

  28. tributegirl • January 16, 2009 @ 8:39 PM

    Much better!

Hey, what’s the proper way to do a smiley?

  29. Nancy • January 16, 2009 @ 8:41 PM

probably by giving the finger…laugh out loud(aka LOL).

  30. Arnold • January 16, 2009 @ 8:42 PM

WHats an acronym for using acronyms all the time?

I think Jo anne and Ke are Gramatical errors at birth.

  31. tributegirl • January 16, 2009 @ 8:45 PM

  32. ...... • January 16, 2009 @ 10:56 PM

Wow. So Arnie when you are ripping on someone about being grammatically correct you should check yourself first. ……WERE grammatical errors at birth. Two names means it is correct to use the word were because they are plural. Perhaps you should learn to spell and learn some grammar before criticizing.

  33. mandee • January 16, 2009 @ 11:18 PM

perhaps thats the exact reason he put are? to see who would be stupid enough to pick a fight with him over something so friggen trivial. and about this whole LMAO crap, im 24 and i still use lmao and lmfao etc. so whats the big deal? once again, if you dont like it, dont read it…or perhaps follow the rules your parents have been telling you for years, if you have nothing nice to say, dont say anything at all? or treat others how you want to be treated? and im sure SOMEONE (wonder who?!?) is going to comment on me saying that, but i never once said people need to stop picking on me lol. nor did i ever say i cared about anybodys opinion of me, other than my own. 🙂

  34. .... • January 16, 2009 @ 11:34 PM

Mandee I have read your past archives, and you’re a douche….plain and simple.

  35. mandee • January 17, 2009 @ 3:34 AM

to …. clearly youre as big of an idiot as the rest of the ones that seem to have a problem with me. i simply state my own opinion, like everyone else, and when someones rude to me, youre damn right ill be rude right back. if you were any type of real MAN OR WOMAN youd at least post your name so everyone knew who you were. gee, i wonder why you dont put a name? maybe because it would once again show who the real instigator is, considering the fact i once again was NOT speaking directly to you. perhaps you should find better things to do with your time then try and cause problems for someone that wasnt saying anything directed at the dirty foul mouthed idiot. (incase youre too stupid to get it, which im sure you are, THAT was directed at YOU 🙂 ) take care, im sure no one would miss you if you were to stop commenting

  36. Stephen • January 17, 2009 @ 5:13 AM

ke and jo, you two don’t even deserve to be on here. I don’t know why tribute hasn’t banned you. What “grammatical errors” were there, ke? Are you talking about the tiny typos that have been fixed? You’re not just anal, you’re asses. As if either of you can write a post without embarrassing yourselves.

  37. Nancy • January 17, 2009 @ 12:48 PM

Ahhh yes, finally…some fresh air. Ooops, that should read, finally, dot dot dot some fresh air. Laugh out loud! So, I’m guessing that we all know who ‘……’ and ‘….’ is. I knew it all along! Those are not the only names she uses either.

Now, as for the ‘……’ comment: “Two names means it is correct to use the word were because they are plural.” Hmmm, dot dot dot maybe Arnold believes that Jo-Anne and ke are one in the same?

  38. mandee • January 17, 2009 @ 1:19 PM

hmm, thats some pretty smart thinking on your part lol. i never caught that! maybe youre right. and im glad other people see it our way 🙂

  39. .... • January 17, 2009 @ 1:21 PM

Well Inspector Nancy you could not be more wrong. I could care less about what any of you say and do. Actually I have just discovered this website and I enjoyed putting a random post in to see how the crazy people react. I am neither for or against any one person on this website; I tried to get under their skin allthe same. Of course you will automatically think I am Jo Ann, which quite frankly is fine with me because I am sure it is burning her butt and she wants to prove you wrong. Also if ke and Jo Ann are not the same person you may think I am her or him too. Again mission accomplised. All of you are so easy to get going!! I am totally on the outside and was just bored last night while drinking a couple of beers after work.
Thanks for the good night crazies…..
Continue on with your bickering. I will be sure to check back on a night when I have nothing better to do.

  40. Nancy • January 17, 2009 @ 2:15 PM

WOW!! For someone who CLAIMS to have “just dicovered this website” you sure had NO PROBLEM jumping to the conclusion that I meant Jo-Anne when I didn’t even say it. You also had no problem, identifying that you know (as any stranger who ‘just dicovered’ this website naturally would..???), that it would be burning Jo-Anne’s butt and she would be so anxious to prove me wrong. You also sure had no problem searching through the archives on Tribute to read as you said, “mandees past” comments…doesn’t sound like someone who “just discovered” this website…sounds like someone trying to cover their tracks because, ooops..’b/c’ Nancy has her figured out! By the way, mis-spelling your own name as “Jo-Ann”…nice touch!! Laugh my f@cking @ss off!! Care to get yourself in any deeper????

  41. ladybug • January 17, 2009 @ 3:51 PM

OMG grow up all of you!

  42. Nancy • January 17, 2009 @ 8:17 PM

Careful, acronyms are shunned around here, ladybug.

  43. mandee • January 17, 2009 @ 11:26 PM

once again, if you dont like our comments, dont read them 🙂

  44. Jo-Anne. • January 18, 2009 @ 7:40 PM

no worries, they think everyone is me, they are Jo-Anne Obsessed

carry on, you are making some interesting remarks, I am enjoying them!
ke, Robyn your comments are well taken, agree.

  45. Nancy • January 19, 2009 @ 11:36 AM

Nope, not obsessed and nope, don’t think “everyone is” you…just a few. Anyways, get over yourself and don’t act so ‘anal’! Laugh out loud. 😛

  46. tributegirl • January 19, 2009 @ 6:17 PM

    “Jo-Anne Obsessed”!!! How funny!
Stephen, great comment, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it!

  47. Nancy • January 19, 2009 @ 7:58 PM

Funny thing, speaking of “obsession”….you reply back..”every single storyline…”!! 😛

  48. Jim • January 20, 2009 @ 6:52 PM

    Hey Nancy,

You replied back too. Just so you know…….

  49. Nancy • January 20, 2009 @ 7:43 PM

Indeed I did Jim but, then again, I never called her “Nancy obsessed” did I? Just so you know……

  50. tributegirl • January 24, 2009 @ 6:46 PM

No you didn’t, but you could have, because she seems to be.
