Leonardo DiCaprio has definitely made a name for himself in recent years as an actor with a knack for bold, dramatic roles. So we would expect nothing less from his upcoming work in Martin Scorsese‘s The Wolf of Wall Street, in which DiCaprio will be playing Jordan Belfort, a real-life former stockbroker who became a motivational speaker after spending time in jail for stock market manipulation. Scorsese’s film, based on the memoir of the same name, will show Belfort’s rise to the top and as part of the role, DiCaprio will reportedly “bare it all” for some very risqué scenes. “There will be some pretty illicit sex scenes coming up. It involves four guys and two girls,” an insider told New York Daily News. “Leo has a scene coming up where he is completely out of his mind on drugs with the other brokers. Cocaine and Quaaludes will be a big part of the movie.” The source also revealed that in order to prepare, the actors were supposed to “get comfortable with snorting baby laxative” because they’d all be doing a lot of cocaine in the film.
While we aren’t entirely sure if DiCaprio actually participated in the laxative-snorting prep work, the actor was recently spotted “shadowing employees” at a New York bank to get ready for his part. He was accompanied by his co-star Jonah Hill, who will be playing Belfort’s friend and partner, Danny Porush. Other big names attached to the film include Matthew McConaughey, Jon Favreau and Oscar winner Jean Dujardin. The Wolf of Wall Street is expected to be released later next year.
