I was lucky enough to see a sneak preview of this movie and I must admit I quite enjoyed it. I was “dragged” to the movie by my fiancee, thinking I was in for another “chick-flick”, but I was wrong. Although there is still the romance and “girly” bits, the movie also contains very humorous moments that will make everyone laugh. Amanda Seyfried is amazing in her role and I would reccommend this movie to everyone.

It is beautifully filmed in Verona, and I can only imagine the crowds of people wanting to travel to this beautiful spot to visit it themselves–the film and the preview exude all the special charms of Italy–romance, wonderful food and wine, beautiful countryside. The preview gives a peek as to what to expect in the film–a light romantic comedy with a heartfelt story line and some genuine laughs.

“I love my job and getting to film a movie in Italy is a dream come true” A truly beautiful backdrop to this film made it very inspiring to make plans to visit Italy but especially Verona. I would have loved a peak of an interview with Vanessa Redgrave who was spectacular and genuine. Her co star is a very “lovely” gentleman with marvelous eyes, just aas she discribed them. Their love story was truly what made the film for me. Don’t get me wrong the other love story was also truly wonderful!!

  91. Lona • May 13, 2010 @ 3:50 PM

I like how the interviewer attempted to draw out their personal viewpoints on ‘destiny’ and ‘romance’. Given the expedient nature of movie promotion, I suppose you weren’t going to get much more than you did response-wise. I dislike previews that reveal the entire plot. Yes, the movie’s outward theme appears predictable, but don’t spell it out.

  92. Emily B • May 13, 2010 @ 3:53 PM

Such a romantic film and gorgeous settings, I’d love to see it again.

  93. Valerie Gibson • May 13, 2010 @ 3:54 PM

The movie was wonderful.I would recommend it to everyone…I think I mught even go see it again. You asked for comments on the video… probably my computer but the audio was not so great…sound cut in and out.I would have liked to be able to hear it better…but ehat I heard was great!

  96. Faith • May 13, 2010 @ 3:59 PM

It’s great to hear the inside scoop on what the actors’ thought about filming and the movie storyline itself. I would love my job too, like Christopher Egan, if I got to go to Italy!

  97. Gibran • May 13, 2010 @ 4:29 PM

I won’t be asking for those 100 minutes of my life back as this movie was entertaining. Amanda Seyfried is definitely making a name for herself…she was great in this film.

  104. Sara Saleh • May 13, 2010 @ 5:14 PM

I saw the preview with my daughters and we love it. I believe that true love exists for everyone. That is what I keep telling my daughters. I tell them that if they believe in true love it will happen without them go searching for it.

I am a believer of fairy tale and fantasy mixed with true love reality. I met my husband in a very unusual situation and we are still married to each other and very much in love.

I know my daughters will also find true love in the most unusual way like I did.

Therefore this movie is an eye opener for me and my daughters.

  105. Greg Travnicek • May 13, 2010 @ 5:33 PM

Since i saw “Letters to Juliet” last week, I can’t stop thinking about it. I just felt drawn to the story, to the characters and to the amazing italian scenery! I do believe that there is one person out there meant for each one of us… and when we get that chance we must seize it! I know i did in my own life… similar story, not that many years tho… and yes a letter was the key to our reunion and I must say, taking a chance like that… as been the best decision I have ever made!!!
This movie is absolutely a must-see… not just for the romantics, but for everyone, because you truly learn that you choose your own path to happiness!

  145. Nancy Cole • May 14, 2010 @ 12:09 AM

In this crazy, messed-up world, it’s about time the movie industry released a “clean”, light-hearted romantic movie that leaves you with a smile on your face and a warm, fuzzy feeling in your tummy. Italy is one of the most romantic and beautiful places in the world, and the scenery in this movie does it perfect justice. I’d watch this movie over and over again! Thanks so much for this sneak-peak opportunity!
