Liam Hemsworth joins Twitter

Liam Hemsworth has joined Twitter. The Hunger Games actor has set up his own verified account on the micro-blogging site but has only posted one tweet so far. He wrote: "Kicking it off on Twitter for the first time. Glad to be on board. Thank you for following." While Liam quickly racked up over 20,000 followers on his first day, he is only following five accounts, none of which belong to his on/off fiancée, prolific tweeter Miley Cyrus. It has been claimed Liam and Miley's relationship started to crack after they got engaged in June 2012 because Miley, who chopped off her hair and dyed it peroxide blonde in August, has completely changed. The source said: "Liam always admired Miley's independence. But this was more like rebellion, and it freaked him out. She has undergone a complete personality change. She's basically thugged out." The friend says Miley's attitude "was grating on him" before their split, adding: "He used to be obsessed with the way she would go wild. But it got more childish to him. He's growing up - and fast."

   He told Miley to get off Twitter (so she did, but then returned). He should have stuck to his guns. Twitter is a waste of time. But I’m guessing some company is sponsoring him to be on there so they can push their product to his fans.

   Miley looks awful and she acts like an idiot, that’s why the relationship is off. She used to be a pretty girl with beautiful hair and she chopped it off and now looks like a butch. I don’t blame him for dropping her.
