Lindsay Lohan arrested in New York City after hitting pedestrian

Lindsay Lohan has been arrested. The Liz & Dick actress was taken into custody by police for leaving the scene of an accident after allegedly clipping a pedestrian with her car in New York City early this morning (19.09.12). According to TMZ, Lindsay was pulling in at low speed to park her Porsche Cayenne near the Dream New York hotel when she allegedly hit the knee of an unnamed man in his 30s. One of Lindsay's passengers got out and checked her vehicle for damage, and then the group went into the hotel. Police were called and when she walked out of the building at 2:30 a.m. - around half an hour after the accident - the actress was arrested. Lindsay, 26, was booked for the misdemeanor offence of leaving the scene of an accident and was released with a desk appearance ticket, meaning she did not have to pay bail before release. The alleged victim was not knocked down by the vehicle and had no visible injuries, but was still taken to hospital. Though the offence is a misdemeanor, it could trigger a probation violation in the Mean Girls star's jewelry theft case, as one of the conditions of probation is that she obeys all laws.

Police were called to Lindsay Lohan’s London flat following an intense argument between her and fiancé Egor Tarabasov, where she accused him of “almost killing” her.

In this case I would stick up for this train wreck of a girl. Guy prob saw her in the Porche or just saw the make of the vehicle and decided to fake getting hit for $. Speculation, of course, but I wouldn’t doubt it. I read somewhere that a guy sued someone cause the other person stepped on his foot.
She made the headlines again, so she’s doing her job.
Her only real claim to fame are her boobs, drinking, drugs, and car accidents. Even strippers have higher standards.
Why does she drive? Doesn’t she have a bodyguard that could double as a driver? It seems like she is looking for trouble.
