Lindsay Lohan going to jail for 90 days

Lindsay Lohan was emotional when she was sentenced to 90 days in jail today. Judge Marsha Revel ruled that the 24-year-old actress had violated her probation by not attending weekly alcohol education classes as set by the court for a 2007 DUI. Lindsay cried as she pleaded with the judge, saying she didn’t expect special treatment, but “I have to provide for myself, I have to work, and my schedule unfortunately is very different.” Lohan claimed the classes she missed were due to her work in Morocco with children, explaining it “wasn’t vacation, it wasn’t some sort of joke.” She will have to present herself back in court on July 20th, when she will begin serving her sentence.

Police were called to Lindsay Lohan’s London flat following an intense argument between her and fiancé Egor Tarabasov, where she accused him of “almost killing” her.
She was working in Morocco with children? Oh, give me a f*cking break. If I was a judge I would’ve been rolling on the floor when she said that. Kudos to the judge for hanging tough.

I like the fact that she finally has some consequence for her poor choices is a good thing. She needs this. She has clearly shown that she is not responsible and she is not thinking of her self let alone others in her actions.

Me thinks this trainwrecing drama queen will continue to make headlines for the wrong reasons, and that she’ll need to hit rock bottom before we see any semblance of personal growth/change. She may not make it.

It is about time we saw the judicial system do what it is supposed to in the state of California and in the district of Los Angeles: punish criminals. Rich or poor, a crime is a crime.
