Lindsay Lohan’s Oprah series ratings take a nosedive

By Tribute on March 20, 2014 | 9 Comments

It was supposed to be a comeback for Lindsay Lohan but her docu-series on the OWN network is not a hit with viewers. The series, called Lindsay, dropped a reported 24 per cent in viewership in just its second week on the air. The first episode brought in 693,184 viewers, while the second episode had only 527,000 people tuning in. Last Sunday’s episode featured Lindsey moving into an apartment in New York City — a move made possible through cash advances from the production company. It also included her mother Dina being arrested for a DUI and Lindsay being offhand about the arrest, saying, “She’ll get a bunch of attorneys.” For now there is a wait to see if the show will be able to survive and stay on the air. The next episode features Oprah Winfrey herself, flying in to New York City  to talk to Lindsay when she refuses to continue filming the show. ~Tarah Bleier

Did Lindsay get a boob job? Her bra’s not working.

I am disappointed that Oprah has placed her hope and invested her time into a person who has corrupted and openly rebelled against the values that as parents we try so desperately to impart in our children /young adults who look to celebrities like Lindsay. Everyone has a right to their opinion and since I do not agree with showcasing this insult to Oprah, I choose NOT to watch. It is easy to be lured into watching a reality show filled with drama; as human beings we are drawn into the fantasy, however, if you agree with me then I encourage you to show your disapproval by NOT watching the show which is a strong way to prove that this show was a terrible idea.

Jordan…..She’s not wearing a bra. She often doesn’t. She showed up in court without a bra.

I’m not surprise that the show bombed. People are tired of hearing & seeing her and her bad choices in her life.

Just like lookie loos passing a car wreck…you pause for a moment and then move on. Lindsay’s race to the bottom has become old news.

Im not sure it’s a flop. OWN doesn’t get good ratings in general. It’s not just LINDSAY. Plus, it’s one episode. We should be a little bit more compassionate. I hope she gets back on her feet.

Oprah is all about telling “my truth” and being honest. Yet look at her picture– she’s had a good 80 pounds airbrushed off herself.

There is far too much time invested by others in the recovery of this woman. When is she going to show some interest in her own future and not rely on others?

How can anyone get excited about a spoiled very lucky brat that can’t appreciate what she has. Because you come from a messed up family does not mean you have to be messed up. Rise above it and be a better person for it. Stop blaming everybody for your crappy upbringing. Most of us didn’t have ideal upbringings and we just get on with life. Who wouldn’t want a movie star life with all of its luxuries that most can only dream about.
