Lindsay Lohan’s purse stolen on Hawaii beach

By Alexandra Heilbron on December 12, 2011 | 6 Comments

Lindsay Lohan was attending a party at a home in Hawaii Saturday night when her $5,000 Chanel purse was stolen from a Jeep parked outside. Lohan’s passport, driver’s license, and documents from her probation officer allowing her to leave California were inside, as well as $10,000 cash. In an audio recording posted on TMZ, Lohan stated she was terrified that without ID, she’d be stuck in Hawaii, which would mean she’d miss her Wednesday morning court date in Los Angeles. Missing court could have found Lindsay in jail with her probation revoked. Police were called, but it wasn’t until one of of her friends questioned a “suspicious-looking” local that the purse turned up. The local denied knowing anything about the purse and left the party, but returned minutes later with the bag in hand, saying he found it on the street. Lindsay was so happy to have her documents back that she didn’t ask about the missing $10,000.

Likely story. Firstly passport and $10k and court docs in there…geebus hold that stuff close at all times. I think it could have been a set up to stay in Hawaii and an excuse not to apear in court Monday. where’s responsibility??
