Lindsay, Paris & Britney skip Teen Choice Awards

Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton were no-shows at Sunday’s Teen Choice Awards, even though they were nominated. An insider told the New York Post: “There was originally going to be a ‘Newsmakers of the Year’ award. Paris was nominated for her 23-day stint in jail, Lindsay for her latest DUI bust and Britney for the infamous head-shaving incident. But none of them would dare to show up . . . all the publicists [for the celebutards] went crazy on Fox, and they just scrapped the category.” Larry Birkhead and American Idol contestant Sanjaya Malakar, who were nominated in the same category, attended the event anyway. Birkhead, who left his daughter Dannielynn at home, said, “I found out about the cancellation two days before the show, but producers told me I could still come if I wanted to. Mine was a positive story, that I got custody of my daughter, which was not the case with some others.”
it is no big loss that they did not show.once a skank always a skank

Is that all they had to do to get them to stay home….
truth hurts, when that’s all your famous for, perhaps infamous is more adequate. now maybe we can watch people on screen because they are good at what they do, not that they are good at being stupid.
They should have been there, especially if they were up for an award.
I feel sorry for Larry and Sanjaya, who were unjustly cheated out of their nominations, but the real victims are the young fans who no doubt lined the streets hoping to catch a glimpse of Britney, Paris, and Li-Lo.
Why should Larry and Sanjaya be punished for the crimes of Paris and Li-Lo?!? This isn’t right!!!!
I feel sorry for them.
