Lohan defends sister’s implant rumors

Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan has written on her Myspace page to clear up rumors about her 14-year-old sister Ali. Lindsay was recently approached by a member of the paparazzi, who asked her: “What do you have to say about people commenting on your sister’s implants?” Lindsay denies that Ali, who appears on the reality series Living Lohan, has gotten breast implants, writing: “All i am trying to say is, is that, i was raised with a wonderful family surrounding me, of course we have our ups and downs, but all in all my mother taught us to appreciate what we have been given. Nor would she ever encourage, or allow a 14 year old child to alter her body.  i am not judging people that do, but i am just saying that its not something that my family finds necessary to do, especially when you’re not even fully developed yet! It is hard enough being 14 years old and you have enough insecurities to begin with, then add being in the public eye. i just find it really disconcerting that people have to focus on the negative and that some people are sooooo bored with their own lives that they need to manifest lies to hurt another person. in a more positive light…i got some great clothes from alexander wang and i miss samantha cuz she’s out of town 🙁 have a wonderful day everyone.”

Somehow I doubt Dina would have a problem with her 14-year-old daughter getting breast implants or whatever it took to keep her in the spotlight… because a spotlight on Ali means more attention for Dina.

No one should be considering plastic surgery at such a young age unless for medical reasons… but then again, Hollywood operates by its own set of rules.

    Here’s a question:

    WHO GIVES A CRAP?

Real or Fake, I’m never gonna touch them so what difference does it make?

Secondly, Since when can Lindsay start speaking about “family values”? Apparently drugs, alcohol car crashes and lesbians are OK, but implants? No no no, that’s improper.

    Gimme a break.

    Hey what’s wrong with lesbians?!

I think there is another article that is more worthy of this space…Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell have donated the earnings they made from the movie ‘The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus’ (which originally was to star Heath Ledger), to Heath’s daughter Matilda to secure her future. A very kind and mature thing for all 3 of these ‘heroes’ to do. Bravo gentlemen!

anybody thought about 14 being a growing age? as in: they may be developing on their own?

“.. to Heaths daughter Matilda to secure her future.”

Yeah, because you know the daughter of Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams is going to be hurting for money. She could live off the residuals for Brokeback Mountain alone for the rest of her life.

Its a kind gesture, but the money could have been donated to a real charity for a greater positive effect.

just gotta have someone raining on the parade

chances are these guys may donate other funds they have earned to other charities

on Matilda, they obviously felt this was “close to home” for them and expressed their generosity towards her in memory of a fellow actor and friend

They should be applauded, not critcized

    Totally agree, Jo-Anne!

  9. Meg • August 18, 2008 @ 11:21 PM

Apparently Heath never got the chace to add Matilda to his will before he passed. So she cant live off residuals off anything.
I think it was brilliant what those three did!

Amen to those three donating their monies earned to Matilda Ledger, the money is going to be cold comfort for her but it will come in handy to secure her future regardless of how much her mom makes. Money won’t replace her dad but she’ll want for nothing and if nothing else she has the means of a great education! As for Ali Lohan implants what she does is her business, leave the girl alone. The press has nothing better to do than create scandal for a little girl who is trying hard to make a name for herself and from what I see she is quite talented and she hasn’t caused anyone any trouble or harm, let her get on with her music and acting and I wish her good luck and great success!
