Lohan’s mother embarrasses Fonda

Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan‘s mother, Dina, worked the red carpet on behalf of Entertainment Tonight at the Georgia Rule premiere in NYC this week. However, her questions were geared around her daughter. She asked Jane Fonda, “So, what was it like working with my daughter?” A witness told the New York Post: “That was a stupid thing to do. Jane publicly criticized Lindsay’s behavior last year.” Dina then asked, “It’s so hard for young stars today with the paparazzi and press—do you have any advice for my daughter?” When Dina interviewed Lindsay, she blurted out how “awkward” she felt being interviewed by her mom.

I think that Lindsays’ mom should stick to being a mom and not try to gert her 15 minutes of fame from her daughter. Instead she try to instill some values in Lindsay. If my daughter was a drug abuseing, sleep with anything, foul mouthed little _itch. I would be trying to influence her to behave in a profeesional manner and to realize that her actions affect how her young fans try to emilate her behaviour. I’d tell her to grow up! not try to get my moment of fame from her.

I don’t see anyreason for Jane Fonda to be embarrassed by the questions asked by Lindsay’s mother Dina, she is the one who should have been embarrassed by her daughters actions both on and off the set. Jane should have used the opportunity to give Lindsay some “advice” and put Dina in her place for asking the question.

My perspective is that advice should NOT be given in public but rather ‘on the side’ and in private. That way something can be achieved besides embarrassment for all parties!
