Lost creator disses January Jones’ acting

Numerous critics have been vocal regarding their dislike for January Jones‘ acting job as mutant Emma Frost in X-Men: First Class, but the biggest jab of all seems to have come from Lost creator Damon Lindelof, who liked the movie but couldn’t keep quiet about Jones’ lack of talent. He wrote on his Twitter page on Saturday: “Emma Frost’s THREE mutant powers: Telepathy, Transformation to Solid Diamond and last but not least, Sucking at Acting.” He then tweeted: “Dug FIRST CLASS though, especially Fassbender, McAvoy and the best deployment of the PG-13 single-use eff-bomb I have ever seen.” Did you see X-Men: First Class? What did you think of Jones’ acting? Is it as bad as Lindelof says? Or is he being too critical?

I agree, her acting was horrible. What they should have done was got another actress, and given her a british accent.
I haven’t seen the movie, but if she was wrong for it, it would be the casting directors fault not hers.

Hey, sometimes, all you need to do is look good to get a part in a movie. She sucked in Unknown but I haven’t seen First Class yet. Arnold made a career with non-speaking parts, she does look good in that white number though 🙂 .
I prefer my women with a little more mean on the bone. That chick is not sexy, she is too skinny..

I agree her acting was terrible. Even her one liners in the film sounded awkward and uncertain. I agree with Joshua though, I am a girl and I thought she was a little too skinny in the film, Jennifer Lawrence killed it, everyone else was better than her, even the 2 other henchman mutants, and they did not have much to say.
She is terrible but has nice boobs. lol
ya in unknown she brought that movie down, but in xmen i thought she did good, she didnt have to speak much so you could just stare at her lol when she did speak it was just like shutup
So I saw the movie -Nice boobs bad acting. I don’t know what she was trying to do. Like be an ice queen stiff with movement and voice? She looked bored in the movie. The rest, they were awesome. Even Kevin Bacon! I loved that they spoke in German and Russian etc.. Shows they really learned and trained for the rolls.
