Lost season premiere scores high ratings

Although American Idol won Tuesday’s 8 p.m. slot with over 25 million viewers, null clocked in from 9  to 11 p.m. with over 12 million viewers during its season premiere (according to tvbythenumbers.com), a six percent increase over last year’s season premiere. ABC’s Lost clip show, which aired directly opposite American Idol from 8 to 9 p.m., scored an impressive 10 million viewers. Lost‘s two-hour finale will air on Sunday, May 23, preceded by a one-hour recap episode.
