The Dirty Weekend actor is set to appear in Sylvia on Broadway—a play his wife starred in two decades ago, so he’s hoping she can help him out with his preparations.
He told the New York Post‘s Page Six column: ”She was so great, and I just hope we can be as good as they were. I saw her in it several times. Hopefully she will [give me some tips].”
The 53-year-old actor recently revealed that his long-lasting marriage to the Sex and the City actress is based on ”talking a lot.”
He said: ”We really are friends beyond everything else and we talk a lot. Keep talking I guess, I know how cliché that is. Too much silence is definitely not a good idea.”
Despite their strong marriage, the couple were unable to celebrate Valentine’s Day together earlier this year because Matthew was working.
When asked of their plans, Sarah previously revealed: ”Well I’m actually going to be with my children because my husband’s working, so I’m going to be with my children, but I think that’s kind of nice. And actually I’ll be with our babysitter too. I keep making fun of her, I’m like, ‘We’re spending Valentine’s Day together Anna,’ and she’s like, ‘Yeah, great.”’
