Matthew McConaughey, 42, married Camila Alves, 29, the mother of his two young children, during a low-key wedding at his home in Austin, Texas on the weekend. The ceremony took place at sunset on Saturday evening. McConaughey wore a three-piece black Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo, while Camila’s wedding gown was made by her favorite Brazilian designer. Friends and family, including their son Levi, 3, and daughter Vida, 2, were in attendance at the private ceremony. Matthew and Camila said their vows quietly, but the 42-year-old actor’s words made the Brazilian beauty cry. A source said: “They whispered them in each other’s ears. No one knew what they said. Whatever they said was very emotional. [Camila] was tearing up.” The couple shunned traditions such as having the ‘Bridal March’ played. The guest explained to Us Magazine.com: “There were no groomsmen or bridesmaids. And there were two preachers, [a pastor of a local church] and a monk.” Matthew and Camila have been engaged since Christmas and Alves, who is taking her husband’s last name, will now be known as Camila McConaughey. Matthew will next be seen on the big screen playing a male stripper/club owner in Magic Mike, which opens in theaters on June 29.
