The new Disney/ Pixar movie Brave tells the story of Merida, a headstrong teenager who also happens to be a princess. In an attempt to break free of tradition and carve her own path in life, she defies an ancient custom and inadvertently unleashes a curse in her kingdom, putting her people — including her wee triplet brothers — in danger. Merida has to race against time to make right the result of her reckless behavior. The animated movie hits theaters June 22nd but in the meantime, we’ve got a sneak peek at the two main characters, including an action-packed video of the feisty red-headed heroine and her trusty and faithful Clydesdale steed, Angus, who, although stubborn and faint-hearted at times, remains devoted to his brave friend, Merida.
