Mel Gibson allegedly threatened murder, suicide

More details of what happened on January 6th between Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva have emerged, and they are shocking. Oksana told authorities that Mel punched her twice in the head before holding his forearm against her throat as she fell back onto a bed with their then two-month-old daughter Lucia in her arms, according to Radaronline.com. Holding a hand over her mouth, he allegedly continued to choke Oksana her in front of her 12-year-old son, Sascha, who was in the bedroom while this was happening. While Oksana struggled to get free, she says Mel pulled out a gun and threatened to kill her and the children before turning the gun on himself. She managed to get free of his grasp and ran out of the house barefoot carrying Lucia, with Sascha following closely behind. Oksana reportedly has a photograph of the baby with a bruise on her face. In a new tape obtained by radaronline.com, Oksana refers to that incident — and Mel doesn’t deny hurting the baby:
Oksana: You cannot raise the child with these symptoms.
Mel: What?
Oksana: You’re acting as a crazy man right now and you have been for many, many months. And you hit me, and you hit her (Lucia) while she was in my hands! Mel, you’re losing your mind. You need medication.”
Mel: You need a f*cking kick up the a** for being a b*tch, c*nt, gold digging whore! With a p*ssy son! And I want my child, and no one will believe you! So f*ck you!”

Daddy’s Home 2 is even more hilarious than the first film. It stars Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell as dads who have to get along for the sake of their children.
Key wording in this article “Oksana told authorities”. Proof? Reported it to the Police? Did the son tell anyone?
So far the answers to all the above are no. Until some answers to those are given I cannot pass judgment on Mel.
and before I get nailed to the wall for missing details. I am assuming the “told authorities” quote above is after these tapes and other nonsense have been leaked to the press. Not prior.
I’ve heard the above conversation and more conversations through CNN. It is indeed Mel Gibson speaking on the tape.
Its is typical to blame the victim. He deserves the benefit of the doubt; she does not? She is correct to keep her son from the media.

True, anyone is innocent until proven guilty. But the evidence doesn’t look good for Mr. Gibson right now

Deb your an idiot. I am merely stating that we must wait for all the facts. I find it strange that there has been so little evidence brought forth. I am hardly condoning abusing women. I would agree with Birdman’s comment the evidence is not looking good.
Deb – it is equally dangerous to assume every woman is abused because they say they are, and to accuse every man of being an abuser because they appear to support the accussed.
As of today, she is also under investigation for extortion as well as hiding evidence from the courts when requesting the restraining order.
Lifeless is correct, there is something sketchy about these accusations without a lot of proof, especially when his ex-wife is backing HIM up saying that she has never seen this behaviour in 30 years of marriage.
Maybe he is ill (no justification for abuse) or something else is going on, but he deserves his day in court where he will either be found guilty or innocent. the media s playing on this for their own benefit – $$ in selling papers, etc.

Hello, who thought ahead to tape these?? Remember the movie the Fugitive?? In the court case the 911 call the wife ‘accused’ the husband. The killer was named. But alas thru the power of movie making flashbacks we saw she was hit on the head by killer but calling for help from her husband… So, What if she said that on recording on purpose? Notice he said only 1 word “What?”.
Innocent until proven guilty. BUT, One thing is certain, you do not treat a woman like that and since that seems to be his voice, then he will certainly be found guilty of at least that much by the public.
Otherwise if there is no history of this violent nature and I really can’t see Mel Gibson ruining his legacy like this. But if doctors deem medication/treatment of some sort is required, then so be it. Let’s let courts decide.

What legacy? His legacy of cheating on his wife (that gave him all those children)? Or of his anti-semetic remarks? Or of saying that he’s such a good Catholic? Must be a new breed of Catholics that believe cheating on your wife is o.k. Ever since he made that “religious” movie he has acted like he IS God and can get away with anything. Why did she wait so long to report this? It happened in January and she waited till now to report it? She doesn’t sound too credible to me. Maybe she’s trying to frame him and wanted money? It sounds like Mel, but is it? If it is him, his behaviour is unacceptable and he should be charged for it. They both sound like they need help. Also, if Mel is an abuser, isn’t an abuser always an abuser? Mel was with his first wife for years and she never accused him of abuse? Some things just don’t add up. Hopefully, the real truth will come out.

When a couple is breaking up there is always her side, his side and the truth. On the tapes, Mel is screaming at Oksana and shouting profanities at her. It’s pretty disgusting. Mel also ranted and raved about 4 years ago in public. It sounds like he might be very unstable. Hope he gets the help he needs.
Well, Mel has been married to Robyn, for a good many years, with six children, and he has NEVER done anything like this, well I think she is loving the publicity and the reaction, that everyone his on her side,PROOF, AND …why did she wait, and why didn’t her son tell anyone…teacher? kids are taught that in school, about abuse. He may not have behaved in a proper manner but I reserve judgement until we hear the whole story. There are two sides and right now we are only hearing one. Who tapes someone’s conversation, answer someone looking to make money and that is what this is about. She is looking to make some easy cash.

I think she set him up. I don’t think we heard the first part of the conversation and that we missed the lead up to his outburst. I don’t agree with what he said, but what if she egged him on and she’s only playing the part she would want the world to hear?

I think he has been gradually losing it and is picking up speed on his downward descent. What about his alcoholism, his public tirades against various groups of people? He has lost his prior lifestyle due to his poor decision making and now, that will be gone too due to the way he has been treating Oksana. Speaking as a child of an abusive alcoholic, the woman doesn’t immediately see the man for what he is because love is blinding her and she also has his baby-perhaps that is why she didn’t report it immediately. The baby was bruised. You saying she hit the baby? My parents put me through 17 years of their crap……
When a woman has been abused they usually don’t tell people right away as they are too embarassed, ashamed, shock, etc. Mel already has a history of so called questionable behaviours i.e. cheating; relapses from using alcohol; anti-seminism comments, etc. It was only a matter of time before ‘his cry for help’ was heard. My compassion goes to both of them…. him for the pain he must be in in order to get to this point and her for the risk of baring the truth in the face of potential judgement, etc. The ‘truth’ always comes out in the end.
In California it is illegal to tape phone conversations unless the other party is told they are being taped,therefore the tapes are not admissible in court!!! If this broad didn’t stick him or report to the authorities that Mel hit and bruised their daughter at the time that it happened,she doesn’t deserve to have the baby!!!I don’t know of any mother that would let anyone get away with this bulls##t!!!Sounds to me like she is a psycho bi#ch who’s only after his money,it wouldn’t surprise me if she was responsible for the bruise on the child or even put makeup on the child to make it appear that it was a bruise.Then took photo’s of it to use them against Mel if he didn’t cough up the dough!!!There are woman who would lie for their spouse/partner if they were abused in the name of love,but there’s no way a responsible mother would hold back if a man hurt her 2 month old baby!!!!
I totally sypport Mel. Besides the fact that much of what he said was TRUE, he was set up. He made the very-human mistake of getting sucked in and succumbing to the sexual allure of a fame whore. I’d be pissed, too. Mel will be exonerated and will put this predator behind him.
I lost all respect for Mel Gibson when he left his wife for this Oksana. She played him and he’s going to pay the price. Absolutely…I agree with gypsy…this woman is a full fledged gold digger if you ever seen one….she’s a PRO!! and to boot she’s using her older son, thinking sweetie if you want that latest XBOX…this is the pay-off… today so many people have LOST any form of ethics…and it’s all about being an OPPORTUNIST…I like that new terminology for the souless greedy bitch who wants to take as much as she can…and shows like Sex & the City are some of the ridiculous examples of how we portray women in society…Cattral…cougar older embaressing woman who in the 2nd film really LOOKED like a laughing stock…those scenes were absurd…pure stupidity…and the Karoke scene….how did they pull off one of the crappiest tunes I’ve ever heard of…you could hear the dogs Howalling in the background…and Carrie…with her over the top I NEED as many wardrobe changes as possible on a set…watch out here’s a DIVA, if you ever seen one..I can imagine how much fun that set would be like once the camera stops rolling….scratch…ouch…here goes those eyes…like cats…

As far as Mel Gibson’s remarks go, its probably something to do with his alcoholism, I mean did anyone ever hear problems of Mel from 10, 20 even 40 years ago when he was acting and doing well with it? No. Hes a great actor and the media just might be out to frame him (this woman included)
so far his ex-wife is standing behind him and if she doesnt have any bruises or trauma why should this one be any different?
