Mel Gibson co-authors song for mistress

By Alexandra Heilbron on June 18, 2009 | 21 Comments

mel_gibson_mistressHe’s a two-time Oscar winner, a director, writer, producer and actor, and Mel Gibson has now added lyricist to his list of accomplishments. Gibson’s pregnant mistress Oksana Grigorieva has released a new single called “Say My Name” that features lyrics co-authored by Gibson. The single is being released by Gibson’s record company, Icon Records. “It is the first and one of the simplest songs on the album, but also one of the most intimate,” says Grigorieva. “It is naked, intimate, raw emotion, little more than piano and voice as if it is a cry from the soul.” If you want to hear it you can download the song here for free, thanks to Grigorieva’s generosity, because, who needs money when your sugar daddy is Mel Gibson?

Really Tribute, “mistress”? After the amount of time Mels been seperated, surely the woman deserves the less scandalizing title “girlfriend”.
That said and done, I think Mel is a fool just like every old rich guy who thinks a young hot woman loves him for his bod…

excuse me while I go puke….Do I hear “Mid Life Crisis?”

  5. demigod • June 18, 2009 @ 8:46 PM

Lily, you underestimate ‘old rich guys’. They know what it’s all about. And women know what they’re getting.

  6. lily • June 18, 2009 @ 9:04 PM

Judging from the bitter court battles over astronomical alimony when wedded bliss runs its course (usually its very short course), I’d say that lots of them do NOT know “what it’s all about”…

Well Lilly, I wasn’t referring to marriage nor alimony. But yes, that would be foolish of men marrying without a prenup, and none of them think women are ‘after their bod’.

Just curious, demigod: what DO those much older rich guys think hot young girls want from them? (I’m thinking about geezers like Larry King, on his eighth or ninth wife)

    Support,understanding,experience,maturity,intellectual conversation,opportunities,exposure(spotlight),networking,money,lavish lifestyle,financial security..

one of the better “comebacks” I’ve seen on here in awhile, demigod…

  11. mandee • June 19, 2009 @ 12:12 AM

well, i dont really see why this is such a sickening thing. if he can write and wants to help her write her lyrics, good for him! i write. i write poetry. i would post some on here, but i dont want anyone to steal them and also i dont think anyone wants to hear them lol. but, if it makes them closer as a couple, then this is great for them. maybe mel will be lucky and this one will stick and be the person he has been looking for his entire life.

  12. demigod • June 19, 2009 @ 12:57 AM

No comeback Jo..Lily and I were just conversing 🙂

  13. Jo-Anne • June 19, 2009 @ 9:07 AM

    deepest apologies d.g….

  14. Jo-Anne • June 19, 2009 @ 9:34 AM

interesting, mandee…I wrote tons of poetry at your age as well and still have it…you should continue with that, it is a wonderful way to express feelings, particularly those hard to sometimes articulate…

I would love to read them personally some day, if you ever want to send any to me…

re Mel writing lyrics/poetry, I see no issue with it at all…

  15. Elizabeth • June 19, 2009 @ 5:04 PM

Lily, I guess some people would still consider her a “mistress” since Mel is still married, albeit separated. Though, I definitely agree with you that “girlfriend” would be less scandalizing.

Mistress: n. A woman who has a continuing sexual relationship with a usually married man who is not her husband and from whom she generally receives material support.

likewise I did same with writing…those were the most emotional times to write and lots of stuff came out….however I began to write when I was relaly happy and you can certainly tell which mood it was by reading the poems!

    have sent you an email…

  18. mandee • June 19, 2009 @ 8:26 PM

ok great. i was wondering if it was you or JO that emailed lol.

  19. lily • June 19, 2009 @ 9:13 PM

Elizabeth, I see what you mean.
Demigod, you sure covered every possible goal but I think the ones you “spotlighted” (if I interpreted that correctly) are the most likely!

  20. tributegirl • June 19, 2009 @ 9:32 PM

hmm, I don’t know, lily & demigod, I have a feeling these rich older guys really don’t CARE what the young women see in them! LOL

  21. demigod • June 20, 2009 @ 9:15 PM

    True enough tg..
