Mel Gibson dumped by agents

The William Morris agency has dumped Mel Gibson after a tape containing racist rants and threats against his ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, was released online. According to entertainment site Deadline, WMA board member Ari Emanuel “emailed his partner Patrick Whitesell that ‘we can’t represent a guy who said the N-word.'” Gibson has been represented by the William Morris Agency in Hollywood since just after he made his first Mad Max movie in Australia. Meanwhile, Radar Online has released another portion of the tape in which Gibson tells Grigorieva, “I will bury you in the rose garden,” which she felt was a threat against her life. She began taping their conversations after he allegedly assaulted her. According to the New York Post‘s Page Six, Gibson could serve up to four years in prison if he’s found guilty of felony assault against Grigorieva. I find these tapes interesting because his opinions on certain topics are polar opposite to his actions. He cheats on his wife with a younger woman who dresses to her age and body type. Then proceeds to wonder why she does this. Using racial slurs in any form of anger or negative context is just not right, enough said there. A public apology may help him here but likely not. I would like to know if he has always been like this or if this is a new development in his life which has been caused by Alcohol or drug abuse. If it is a new development then I’d like to see him seek help. If he has always been like this and his ex-wife just kept it all under wraps then who is this Mel Gibson you speak of?

I think his ex-wife was the glue that held him together. He should’ve stayed with her and not messed around with this money-hungry whore.

I feel sorry for Jodie Foster. She just directed him in a movie and there’s no way anyone’s going to see that. She wasted her time. I wonder if it will ever even be released.

Come on people,,,,its Mel Gibson….we all know people get on the wacky wagon…but who cares about what he says when he’s drunk…your not in your right mind…has for the ‘bury you in the rose garden….’ we only know half of that meaning….a rose represents love….perhaps he still has love for this woman and she is only trying to get attention. Just remember Mel Gibson had his limelight back in the 80’s and getting old and trying to find work in Hollywood isn’t easy.
You always have a piece of my heart Mel…rock on but get off the juice and becareful what you say…the world is listening…………..

Carolyn, your messed up if you think someone telling another person that they will bury them in a rose garden means they love them. It means they will kill them and bury them. Seriously, he was really loud and angry in those rants he made (which she recorded) so if your that dumb to think that yelling in a fit of rage that he wants to bury her in a rose garden means that he ‘loves her’ than you are f**king stupid, and most likely you are in an abusive relationship which your boyfriend beats you up. But you keep on thinking you can change him and make him a better person so you stay with him. (but he doesn’t change and never will) it’s pathetic.

Yes, and I’m sure that you, Ally, know EXACTLY what Mel Gibson is thinking and meaning in everything he says…
Carolyn is just trying to defend the position that everything may not be as it appears…and considering this is coming from Hollywood, tendency should be to take everything with a grain of salt…

Virginia Woolf said ‘nothing thicker than a knife’s blade separates happiness from melancholy’ and so with love and hate. It seems to me Mel Gibson is almost a caricature of the extreme alpha, macho male and Oksana a caricature of a money grabbing, shallow, cold hearted Russian femme fatale. Maybe they have planned this to get more recognition, albeit negative publicity. I can’t wait to see Mel Gibson in the film the Beaver, even more poignant since the release of these tapes! It will be a hit no doubt about it.
