Mel Gibson pays Oksana’s son $100,000

Mel Gibson has agreed to pay $100,000 to his ex-mistress Oksana Grigorieva‘s son, Alexander Dalton (whose father is actor Timothy Dalton). Oksana’s lawyers had asked Gibson to pay up to the tune of $500,000 for the emotional trauma Alexander, now 14, endured when he witnessed Mel’s alleged assault on Oksana on January 6, 2009. Mel pleaded no contest to simple battery in regards to the incident and was sentenced to 16 hours of community service. Oksana also claimed Mel pushed the boy into a table at one time. Mel will pay the boy $100,000 in settlement, but in exchange, Alexander has to sign a waiver stating that he can never sue Mel for anything that occurred when he resided with his mother and the actor during their short-lived relationship.
