Mel may move back to Australia with ex-wife

Mel Gibson, 54, has apparently told friends he’s moving back to Australia with his former wife of 28 years, Robyn, after tapes in which he threatened his ex-girlfriend were released to the press. Oksana Grigorieva claims Gibson physically and verbally abused her and asked for full custody of their eight-month-0ld daughter, a request that was denied last week in court. In his defense, his ex-wife Robyn wrote a letter to the courts, saying he “never engaged in any physical abuse of any kind” towards her and their seven children. A friend told British paper The Daily Mail: “She has persuaded him that he needs to get away from Hollywood and find peace on his ranch, and she will go with him along with some of the children.” Gibson sold his New York mansion recently and is looking to unload his property in Malibu as well.

Does this mean he’s abandoning his baby daughter? Anyway, I doubt the ex-wife would take him back. She’s independently wealthy now and whether he’s abusive or not, he’s definitely a racist and an all around jerk.

He should go there for a while to clear his head and get better.

Mel is an amazing director & actor and a man with great class, wish there were more people like him. Hope everything works out for Mr. Gibson.

Australia is a great place to get away from it all, have a great vacation Mel.

As I have posted in other Gibson articles on tribute. We still have not had any definitive proof that he has done ANY of what he is being accused of. Perhaps waiting to pass judgment before all the facts are presented is not the best approach. Before you try and respond with any sort of blasting response let me make my stance on certain topics clear. Racism= BAD, Violence towards Women= un-tolerable and Abuse towards women = un-tolerable. If these tapes and abuse claims end up being true then I will certainly be the first to join you in the lighting of the torches to chase away Mel.
