Melissa Gilbert, 46, and Bruce Boxleitner, 60, have officially separated after a turbulent 16-year marriage. They were wed in 1995 and have a 15-year-old son, Michael, named for Michael Landon, Gilbert’s Little House on the Prairie co-star. Gilbert also has a 21-year-old son from her first marriage and Boxleitner has two sons from his first marriage. He most recently appeared on the big screen in Tron: Legacy.

Shoot, she looks like she’s had about 5 too many plastic surgeries. So ugly! He looks great, however. After reading her autobiography, I wasn’t sure how he puts up with her. In it, she admitted she’s a raging bitch and thanked him for his patience. She also cheated on every boyfriend she ever had and she was really nasty about her Little House co-star who played her sister. Her brother who played Willie Olson left home as soon as he turned 18 to get away from her and her mother. I was disappointed to find out how big a bitch she is. I used to like her on Little House. I saw her on a TV movie after that, but didn’t even recognize her. I liked her face before she started altering it. But I guess it now reflects who she is inside. I wish him the best of luck and future happiness.
WOW….she looks like she has been mulled by a bear!! She needs plastic surgery ASAP!!! Oh wait! LOL

I think it’s just a bad snap of her. We all can take a bad picture if someone gets us unaware or at a bad angle. I saw her on TV recently & she looked all right. She still looks young for her age, although this sure isn’t a flattering picture of her at all. Leave it to the media to pick the worst photo to post for the public. He looks eons too old for her anyway. We all wonder how others can put up with us sometimes so at least she was honest about her mood swings in her book. She can’t be all that bad if he tolerated her for 16 years, that’s no short fling.
I just don’t understand why these attractive, wealthy women alter their looks down to the ‘trout pout’! Their mouths all look the same – swollen, injured and totally phony. I’m so glad I didn’t waste my time and read her book. Evidently she struggles with her own mental health. Too bad for that, but really Melissa, get your old face back!
She doesn’t look good at all, especially those lips, what on earth would possess a person to make themselves look even worse than they did before?

I agree about the plastic surgery–she isn’t looking nearly as pretty as she did before–more natural! Obviously, if she’s felt the need for so much work done on her face, she must be suffering from deep inner personal hang-ups. I thought that she also suffers from Anorexia, or something, at least at one time! Too bad for her dissalutioned marriage–he’s a great guy. Maybe he’ll find someone better. Good Luck to her, tho’!!
I saw Melissa Gilbert in a play a year ago and I had good seats. She looked pretty then. I think it’s just a bad picture. Shame she is not a nice person.
Had Melissa kept her original face she would probably look way younger for her age. She was born in 1964 which makes her 47 and she looks at least 57. This is actually a better picture than I have seen. I saw her in person (2010) too and her huge fake boobs sit at her waist which make her look matronly. Her face is waxy. However Bruce looks great and apprently is a very down to earth guy. Too bad MG has so many issues that she has initiated herself. I thought one learns from former mistakes. She was a great child actor.But one messed up adult!
I just watched season 3 of B5 a while back. Definitely not the same Melissa that was in those final episodes. :/
