Michael Bay blasts Megan Fox

By Alexandra Heilbron on July 7, 2009 | 16 Comments

megan_foxMichael Bay is not too happy that Megan Fox, one of the stars of his new blockbuster film, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, criticized him in public, telling Entertainment Weekly that Bay’s films are all special effects and don’t offer anything as far as acting goes, saying “working with Michael Bay is not about an acting experience.” In response, Bay told the Wall Street Journal: “Well, that’s Megan Fox for you. She says some very ridiculous things because she’s 23 years old and she still has a lot of growing to do. You roll your eyes when you see statements like that and think, ‘Okay Megan, you can do whatever you want. I got it.’ But I 100 percent disagree with her.” He added, “Nobody in the world knew about Megan Fox until I found her and put her in Transformers.”

Right you are Michael! I don’t even think she’s a good actress.

Actually I think she is right… IF you read the movie reviews many people said you don’t go and watch an action film for it’s story line or lack there of.. you go for the action. Mr. Bay shouldn’t attack her age.. he could have been a bit more polite seeing as he is her Senior and could lead by example!

Megan Fox doesn’t offer “anything as far as acting goes” either. She is just a publicity-seeking celebrity who has modeled herself after Jolie when she was younger (outrageous statements about her sexuality to the press, etc. just to garner attention). Time for Fox to realize that she is merely eye candy and will only get parts because of her parts.

I agree that Bay’s movies tend to lean toward heavy action and special effects but Bay is very right in saying that nobody really knew shit all about Megan Fox until she was cast in Transformers.

She does need to grow up and realse that the universe doesnt revolve around her. *sigh*

does this girl “act” in anything other than transformers? i dont really watch much tv, and when i do its only specific shows. talk about biting the hand that feeds you. perhaps if theres a transformers 3 he can kill her off in the very beginning so he doesnt have to deal with her thinking his movie doesnt have any acting in it. sure, action movies like transformers have a lot of special effects and a lot of action, but there is acting in the movies, if there wasnt then no one would have to pay actors or actresses to be involved in it. they could just get ordinary people that didnt have anything better to do to come and star in the movie. would cost them less money. some people are so ungrateful for the things they get in life. when youre in the spotlight you really should watch what you say because everything will clearly be broadcast to the entire world. that goes for both of them, not just megan.

Megan Fox ranks among the best. Her acting abilities are almost on par with such greats as Carma Electra, Jessica Simpson, David Ducohnvy and Bumble Bee. She could play a stone, a cactus, or any inanimate object. When she shows hurt in those big makeup eyes, I feel the pain – constipation!

She sounds like she doesn’t know when to be grateful. She should be thanking Micheal Bay for the opportunity (let’s face it, all she has is a pretty face, but limited acting abilities) instead of critcizing his work. Anyways, she should learn to grow up and face the fact that she is not the only beautiful one in Hollywood! Hollywood is full of beautiful people and as well as talented people.

Maybe she’s right. Would explain Michael Bay casting her twice. She’s perfect for the role.

    TOTALLY AGREED! LOL

I think Michael Bay should have added, judging by this photo anyways, that Megan has a neck like a man and she has lopsided breasts.

  11. Stephen • July 8, 2009 @ 2:12 PM

And, Nancy, let’s not forget that Mensa-like look on her face. Maybe she was just trying to read one of the reviews of her in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen where her acting was compared to a robot. Hopefully one day she’ll transform into a real actress.
