Michael Jackson’s children want to testify against Conrad Murray

Michael Jackson‘s two eldest children, Prince Michael, 14, and Paris, 13, have informed their grandmother Katherine that they want to testify in the manslaughter trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, according to a RadarOnline report. However, the report says their testimony may help the doctor’s defense, as they were very fond of him. A source close to the Jackson family is quoted as saying: “Prince and Paris adored Doctor Murray and thought he was a godsend for their father. It was only after their father’s death that they formed a subsequent opinion of him. Both Prince and Paris could take the stand and wind up providing evidence which supports the doctor.” A decision has not yet been made, because their grandmother is unsure about letting them testify, but according to TMZ, if the children do, Katherine will ask that the entire courtroom be cleared first. The source added: “Katherine is resisting the move, because she knows how traumatic it would be for them. But both Prince and Paris have said they want to tell the jury what they saw on the day their father died.” Michael’s youngest son, Blanket, nine, will not take the stand because the family feels he’s too young.
