Michael SheenBritish actor Michael Sheen, 40, who ironically played a werewolf  leader in the 2003 vampire movie Underworld, has been chosen to play Aro, the leader of an Italian vampire clan called the Volturi in The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Director Chris Weitz told British newspaper The Mail that he’d “aggressively” pursued the actor for the role and offered him a hefty paycheck. “Michael’s role is so important because he’s the head of all vampires,” he said. “Aro is, on the surface, a very gracious and friendly vampire, but beneath that he is a tremendous threat.” Sheen will appear in scenes opposite Dakota Fanning, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. ~movi_alex.

I don’t know how i feel about this. i love michael sheen. i think he’s an excellent actor. unfortunately, Twilight…is well…mediocre (to be polite). ah well, maybe he’ll make it all better.
