Mila Kunis: lesbian sex scene “uncomfortable”

By Alexandra Heilbron on December 3, 2010 | 7 Comments

Mila Kunis told Parade that filming a sex scene with Natalie Portman in the ballet movie Black Swan was “uncomfortable,” but she agreed to do it because she felt it was “important” to the film. “We knew it was going to attract attention. We were just hoping that people would walk away after seeing the movie not just isolating in their memory that scene when we have sex,” she said, adding, “I think it’s important to the story. It wasn’t done for shock value, but we weren’t looking forward to it.” Kunis explained it was awkward to do those scenes despite being friends with Portman. She noted: “I don’t think we were laughing between takes. I think we were like, ‘Let’s just get this over with’. It’s uncomfortable doing a sex scene. It’s just bizarre. Luckily, we were friends, so we were able to get through it.” Black Swan is currently playing in Toronto will be released December 10 in Vancouver, then wide on December 22 in Canada.

I’m sure it’s great for men. Personally, I don’t want to watch two actresses pretend to have sex. Is that what it takes to get an Oscar nomination, Natalie? It’s great to see that your morals have remained intact.
