Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus – lawbreakers!

By Alexandra Heilbron on January 16, 2009 | 19 Comments

Though they issued an apology for a scene in Miley Cyrusconcert movie in which they were driving in a car without seatbelts, Billy Ray Cyrus and his famous teen daughter seem to be continuing their scandalous law-breaking streak. Both were spotted by paparazzi this week riding bikes without helmets. According to California state law, bicyclists under 18 must wear a helmet, while all motorcyclists must wear a helmet. As you can see by the photos, the Cyrus’ must be blissfully unaware of the laws, or they’re just blatantly disregarding them. Shame on them! Of the two, we’d say Miley is the more hardened criminal – she’s chatting on a cell phone while in motion!

Who cares???? It’s not like they are snorting coke, GEEZ!!

Well, it is against the law! It is because of people like this (and I’m not just talking about celebrities) that everyone’s vehicle insurance is so high. It isn’t right that my car insurance goes up when I didn’t have any accidents or claims…not even a ticket.

Miley Cyrus is one of today’s 10 modern-day plagues that will lead to Earth’s final devastation in the next few decades.

    MARK MY WORD’S!

Whoever took these pictures needs to get a life. Call out the National Guard! So, they’re not wearing helmets – who cares? I think there are more pressing issues in the world than this dribble.

Get a sense of humour Bodrey. Go read CNN or something. This is a gossip section, it’s meant to be fun. Which it is, until losers like you and JoAnne and Ke show up.

I wonder does the person or ppl that took these pics, since the age of 18, wear or has ALWAYS worn a helmet while riding bikes, NEVER talked on a cell phone while driving, or ALWAYS wear a seat belt????? Where’s YOUR pictures? Get a life or finish throwing it away by turning YOURSELF in. No sweetheart, shame on you! Then to call them criminals, you should be behind bars for public stupidness!!!!

  17. Nancy • January 21, 2009 @ 9:23 AM

If the rest of us didn’t have to pay higher insurance premiums, etc….I couldn’t care less. But, those of us who carry insurance of any kind and pay federal taxes know that WE ALL pay when the worst happens!!

  18. Alicia • January 21, 2009 @ 10:20 AM

Does it occur to you, Getabetterhobby, that the photographer was merely taking photos and not even taking into consideration that they weren’t wearing helmets? Miley and Billy get their pictures taken whenever they appear in public. I don’t know why you assume the photographer had some deep, dark motive.

Oh, and if your comments are meant against the writer of this piece, who was obviously just trying to give people a laugh, then get a life, not just a better hobby.
