Miley Cyrus defends weight gain

Miley Cyrus is on the defense after several media outlets commented on her fuller figure. In response, she tweeted last Friday: “By calling girls like me fat, this is what you’re doing to other people,” Miley wrote as she posted a photo of a woman with a severe eating disorder. “I love MYSELF & if you could say the same you wouldn’t be sitting on your computer trying to hurt others.” She then posted a photograph of Marilyn Monroe in a white swimsuit, with the caption “PROOF. That you can be adored by thousands of men, even when your thighs touch.” She then replied to fellow former Disney star Demi Lovato, who has been undergoing the same type of criticism: “AMEN! I will destroy any one that ever calls you the F word. You have the SEXIIIESTTTT curvyyyy body! I LOVE IT!” In response to another Twitter user, she wrote: “I don’t wanna be shaped like a girl I LOVE being shaped like a WOMAN & trust me ladies your man wont mind either;).” Her boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, obviously loves Miley’s curves, having previously said he enjoys watching her eat: “When I look over at her when she’s biting into a steak sandwich and there is some steak sauce dripping down her chin, there is nothing sexier than that.”

Pictures don’t lie… she is getting a little chubby in the face… I gues thats what happens when your career hits rock bottom and nobody likes you anymore… and she wants to be shaped like a women not a girl? So women are fat and girls are slim? ahgahahahaha

    I’d still tap it!

Is that a moo moo she’s wearing?
I guess it saves time buying new clothes.

her body, her life, her business. If she’s happy, so be it!

  8. Andrea • November 17, 2011 @ 12:20 AM

Her face always looked pudgy. Even when the rest of her was skinny.

Come on people, who are we to judge? If you don’t like the way she looks just keep it to yourselves. Haven’t you ever seen the movie Bambi? Thumpers mother tells him that if you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything at all. Good advice for all of us 🙂

Your in the spotlight – live with the criticism. Personally, I think the ‘Hollywood’ standard is too thin but if you want to play the game…

I love her Homer Simpson boyfriend’s comment about steak sauce. Seriously, it’s no one’s body but hers, and no one’s business but hers. If he loves her the way she is, if she loves herself the way she is, rock on.

And my life taught me that if you don’t have anything nice to say then come stand next to me… we’ll laugh at them together

Bang on Candi. I believe what they say about some people only call others down just make themselves feel better. Do you guys feel better now?

  14. Alison • November 17, 2011 @ 12:49 PM

If people call her fat.. I don’t want to know what that makes me!

  15. John • November 17, 2011 @ 1:38 PM

She’s on her way to being huge. And it’s not steak sauce her boyfriend is imagining dripping down her chin.

Weight matters little if you’re truly talented. Look at Rosie O, Roseanne Barr, Rita McNeil, John Candy, Cathy Bates, the list goes on.
Let people be who they have to be. Everyone isn’t meant to be someone else’s idea of perfect.

    Miley still looks ok.
She does not look as thin as before prob because she is older.
Her face is kind of round looking, but always has been.
A lot of people are thin and have round faces- she is one of those people who no matter how thin they are have a round face…can’t do much about that.
(I actually have the same issue, lol).

Also, most of the people who comment are prob much more overweight and do not look as nice as Miley anyways.
post pics of yourself, so we can see what you look like too??

one advantage of having a round face is she won’t have any wrinkles later on 🙂

Why do people always look for the worst in others. She’s fat with a pudgy or chubby face and moo moo clothing (comments made by others above). Why should we assume that someone in the Hollywood spot light have to retain the perfect figure image. Shouldn’t it be about talent more then image. In life, isn’t being happy the only thing that matters.

Bullying consists of three basic types of abuse emotional, verbal, and physical. Words can hurt, people!!!

It’s because of the people that call others “fat”, “chubby” or what ever other word they can think of that make young girls look down on themselves. Do you know how much pressure is on people to look like these fake stick thin models. This is why people develop eating disorders. All these tabloids need to get a life, and find some real news to report. Learn to be happy in YOUR OWN LIFE, and don’t center some one out because they are looking fat in their jeans to make yourself feel better

i’d rather see females of woman’s age look like a woman not a child or like they have anorexia. the thighs should touch not have a gaping hole between the legs.

Generally I don’t like to judge people based on their outward appearance, but -in this case – I also consider Miley grotesque on the inside. Let’s not forget that Miley warped more than a few young minds by propagating her whorish brand. This is, also, the same dumb Disney troll that sang “Party in the USA” at the MMVAs.

For those reasons, and many more, I find solace that her thoughtless behaviour’s starting to catch up with her.
