Miley Cyrus smokes a joint onstage

Compared to her performance at the VMAs, Miley Cyrus’ performance at the European Music Awards in Amsterdam over the weekend seemed tame – up to a certain point. Miley opened the show by performing her hit song We Can’t Stop and later on in the broadcast performed her single Wrecking Ball in front of a giant screen with her own crying face on it. She went on to receive the Best Video award for Wrecking Ball. While on stage to accept her award, Miley took a pause, reached into her Chanel bag and took out a joint. She then proceeded to light the joint and smoke it throughout her acceptance speech. Sources say throughout the night Miley continuously smoked weed backstage as well, although no one seemed impress. A source told Us, “No one was expecting it to happen. It was so brazen, so shameless. It was so uncalled for.” Marijuana is legal in Amsterdam so Miley was not breaking any laws. ~Brie Davis
