Miley Cyrus worries about being “has been”

Miley Cyrus, who celebrated her 18th birthday this week, is worried she may become a “has been.” According to showbizspy.com, sources say, “Miley loves being successful — she doesn’t know anything else. But she’s worried she could end up washed up like all the other former teen stars out there. Turning 18 has got Miley thinking about her future in Hollywood and how she’s going to keep her career white-hot.” Meanwhile, Dolly Parton, who calls herself Miley’s honorary godmother, worries about who the teen has advising her. She told Larry King: “I don’t know if she’s surrounded by people that are helping (her to) not make the wise decisions.” Talking about Miley’s recent raunchy videos and her skimpy outfits, Parton commented, “Hopefully she didn’t get that from me because I certainly never encouraged her to do any of that.” She added that showbusiness is tough, especially on young girls, saying, “I think this day and time life is hard for young people, certainly young girls… You can’t just talk trashy enough or dress trashy enough. It seems to be like if you don’t do that you’re not in the in crowd.”

Her concern is valid — she should be worried. Where’s Hilary Duff now? How about Raven?
Here is exactly why an education is important. If Miley had been encouraged to develop her brain in more than one direction, and continued her education, she would not need to be concerned about becoming a “has been”. This is what is wrong with these girls that are so concerned with fame that nothing else matters.
Get an education Miley, you don’t need to be a doctor or lawyer, you could study film and think about something to fall back on, i.e. directing, marketing, producing etc. If you are a one trick pony, well….then yes, you’ll be forgotten in no time at all.
Very good comment Dee Martin!! Exactly nail on the head. She was too busy in her young life being in the spotlight and evolving into what we see today just so she can stay ‘white hot’ and ahead of the curve. Well, maybe her fans would totally stick around longer and appreciate her more for her brains if she steps back and gets education and maybe she can branch out into other areas of business/entertainment. And be wealthy and wise in future decisions.

Hey Tweetybird, where’s Hiliary Duff. She just married Mike Cormrie who plays in the NHL making $1.2 million a year. Oh yeah, he is the only grandchild of Bill Comrie who owns The Brick, Hiliary is worth $15-20 million, Mike will inherit over an estimated half billion dollars cash (that’s $500,000,000+ ) and own The Brick as the sole owner. Why work when you can marry a not so good looking guy who’s loaded and is on the road playing hockey 10 months a year.
Miley is worth $1 billion, why should she care?
I agree on the education. However, if she decides not to go that route…which, would be a waste…she still doesn’t need to be like Brittany and Lindsay. You don’t have to be trashy to be successful. Look at Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake, for example. If you have talent, you’ll never be a has-been. No need to go from one extreme to the other…find a happy medium before it’s too late.
