Movies shelved after school massacre

Two movies have been temporarily shelved because of their resemblance to the events of the recent Virginia Tech massacre. Meryl Streep’s movie Dark Matter tells the story of a Chinese university student who reacts violently when his chances for an award are ruined by school politics. The documentary The Killer Within follows a true incident 50 years ago when a college student planned to kill everyone in his dorm. A source told British newspaper The Times: “These films are too close to the knuckle.”
