Nemo and Friends now on the Aquarium Channel

The Aquarium Channel is playing host to a school of famous fish from Disney•Pixar’s Finding Nemo, due to a collaboration between Walt Disney Studios Canada and Rogers. Viewers and fans of the Oscar-winning animated feature film can catch Nemo, Dory, Marlin and the rest of the underwater gang in action as they dive into Rogers channel 205, currently renamed the “Finding Nemo Channel,” for a special 27-day guest appearance.

From August 31 to September 25, the characters will swim and play across a new “Finding Nemo”-themed redesign of the Aquarium screen. A two-minute trailer will also be shown periodically for the upcoming 3D release of Finding Nemo, which hits theaters on September 14, 2012. “Finding Nemo is one of Disney•Pixar’s most beloved and popular stories, with fans of the film eagerly awaiting its return to the big screen,” said Greg Mason, VP, Marketing, Walt Disney Studios Canada. “The Aquarium Channel presented a perfect opportunity for us to showcase the characters and promote the 3D theatrical release in a fun and unique way.”
