Gilmore Girls: A Year in the LifeIt’s almost time! We are excited about the Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life hitting the streaming site this Friday. Netflix has launched a “Date Night with Mom” campaign to encourage mothers and daughters to binge watch and bond while drinking coffee and enjoying one of the most anticipated shows this year.

They just revealed new data that proves TV shows, like Gilmore Girls, help moms and daughters build a stronger relationship. True, right?

According to a Canadian survey, 61 percent of mothers and daughters feel sharing TV shows with each other helps them build a stronger relationship while more than half of mother-daughter duos surveyed (54 percent) report post-show discussions are the best part of sharing a show together. Touché.

Hence, Netflix is encouraging you to invite mom to date night come November 25, the day Gilmore Girls hits the streaming service. Basically the day we have been waiting for all year! Whether she is the Rory to your Lorelai or the Lane to your Mrs. Kim, the Stars Hollow family understands every mother-daughter dynamic. Get ready for heaps of disagreement, cups of coffee, unending pop culture references, pop tarts and the much-loved witty banter.

I know I will be having Gilmore Girls date night with my mom this Friday, how about you? Not sure what to bring? Easy. Check out a Date Night video from the leading ladies. Continue reading below for some cheeky lines from the show’s moms and daughters.
