New American Idol judge in – Paula out?

Apparently some people are bored with watching the same tired banter between American Idol judges Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell, and listening to Randy Jackson’s barely intelligible “dawg” comments. As of next season, the hit singing competition show will try to vamp up the stale trio by adding another judge, songwriter Kara DioGuardi, to the cast. While she’s not a household name (yet), DioGuardi has made a name for herself within Tinseltown by penning hits for A-listers like Gwen Stefani, Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, and Kelly Clarkson. “She is a smart, sassy lady, and one of America’s most successful songwriters. We know she will bring a new level of energy and excitement to the show,” said AI creator Simon Fuller. Still, one can’t help but wonder if Paula’s controversial antics from last season had anything to do with adding a fourth judge. Is this a sign that Paula is on her way out?

   They said they where adding a new judge, because they wanted two guys, and two girls. since paula has been the only female judge for the past seasons.
   But also with Paula, like come on. Get your act together. I hope she dosent leave the show!

   I heard that from the beginning the show was supposed to have 4 judges. I think they are just stealing the ‘4 judges’ idea from Canadian Idol… 😀

   Now the show will be longer with more judges and less actual talent showing

   they need to dump one of the judges, 4 is too many – get on with more of the singing and ditch all those “staged” no talents they start out with each season.
   The show picks up only when the remaining 10, 12 talents are vying for the top spot.
